Okay - I've been very busy all day and just got back to read all the post and now here is the situation . . .
First and foremost, THANK YOU to all of the people who stepped up to defend "Me" - I really do appreciate everything that was said, although some were, shall we say - a backhanded compliment . . .
(Even though they may be deserved . . . Just Sayin' . . .
As for how I post and say something on ECF, especially here . . . In the future everyone should at least . . .
PLEASE NOTE: What it says in "My" Signature Line . . . Down thereIt is as plan as day light and says it all - besides being an "OLD Curmudgeon" - I'm a NEW YORKER (even though I am mandated to live in Florida right now) who uses "SARCASM", especially to make lite of situations . . . (BTW: Not that I NEED to defend "My" actions - If there is a NEED for further clarification - there is also "My" Blog about how and why I post the way I do here: Quotes and Why I Use Them . . . Also, if Ya' want to know about the use of "Smilies/Emoticons" here: AH - The Post - and What Happened to "Uncle" . . . )

sorry i only read the initial rules in first post, i didnt realize there was a rule nn order as others didnt, maybe you clarified it later on that my fault. i have no problem being disqualified, i just thought you were being rude to me, but all is goo and considered squashed with me. i do just want to not i DID read rules and didnt realize it had ot be in order, and it appears, even according to you, that this is in an ongoing problem. may i suggest maybe editing first post of rules to make them more clear? that would save you a lot of time having to explain to n00bs like me why they were disqualified. anyways just a friendyl suggestion. hope all is well, look forward to more fun with u and all on these forums. and this will be last post from me on isue just wanted to say all is good and make that suggestion. thank you sir

For many reasons, I fully understand the frustration that comes with "Quiting Smoking", being a new member of ECF, and not following the exactly when entering contest to Win something that is being given away for FREE (and that many people cannot afford to get otherwise - like "Me") . . . I "Myself" have done it many a times before I learned what was and is not acceptable (even though I still do try to push the envelope at times . . . ) in both discussion and contest threads here on ECF (Again, might I suggest "You" read the links to "My" Blog post - I left for "You") . . .
Not withstanding that piece of information. . . NOW - Let's be very clear . . . "You" are not the first or last person not to really read or understand the rules of contest, matter of fact there are more contest participants (aka "ECF contest police" - that are not ECF Moderators or even a contest helper like I am) that come down on others more harshly then I ever do when someone does not follow the rules . . . I would strongly suggest that "You" become more familiar with the norms here on ECF when it comes to Contest, especially given the fact that there are many vendors who, while they are gracious enough to have contest to give away FREE "Stuff", are even more stringent then I am when it comes to their contest and what is or is not allowable . . . These (and in other contest too) have always been ongoing and updated accordingly where and when necessary during a contest, especially when there have been discrepancies (Matter of fact, just check out the past years contest threads for this contest to see more) . . . Also - There is no way for "ME" to go back to the first post to edit our host post nor "My" post after the fact . . . AND - If "You" haven't read the ECF TOS & that is required when "You" joined - which will tell "You" why it cannot be done - I really suggest "You" do . . .
In Addition, there is also what some might consider the over exuberance to defend oneself when there is a discrepancy ("You" really kept re-posting too many times and taking over this thread by complaining without allowing "Me" enough time to respond in a timely manner either - I actually do have a life outside of ECF too) . . . I have fully read your post and agree that the post I left for you may have seemed "rude' to "You" given the situation and "Your" post that did not follow the, but there is also what is acceptable behavior verse inappropriate behaviour when posting on ECF . . . I happen to know that there are many people here on ECF (both participants, contest helpers, and Vendors) who would have had "Your" post "Flagged" for being inappropriate and asked them to be deleted (they may have even go so far as to ask an ECF Moderator to ban "You" from the thread) and without providing "You" with any explanation/s at all. However, given what has transpired and the responses already posted, I have allowed them to stay as is, especially for everyone's benefit and to allow "You" a voice to express "Yourself" here (which if I did involve an ECF Moderator Would NOT Have Happened).
