Hey, Uncle. I thought the "highest score without going over rule" was only used when two or more people chose the same team. Last week YOU were the only one who picked the Patriots. So it's my understanding that YOU won fair and square. No tiebreak needed.
Well to be honest, "You" are correct . . . The
do state that the Winner is the person who picked the Team that Scored the most points that week . . . AND - Since No One else picked the Team with the highest score, there was no need for any "tiebreaker" for last weeks game . . . However, given the problem/s last year about the "tiebreaker" rule and with the addition of the "Not Going Over" the score, it really can be interpreted that it also includes if there is only one person who picked the team . . . AND - Given that I was going to PIF it to the next person with the Team who had the highest score anyway and that I just goofed-up so much last week due to being ill - although it can be confusing - I really saw no reason to bring it up at the time until now . . .
So - THANK YOU for keeping "Me" on target . . . 
NOW - Even with that being said and to be as clear as possible, from this point on in the Contest . . .
UPDATED Rules:
- Simply pick which NFL football team will score the most points that week.
- Then guess how many points they will score (this is the tie breaker question so more than one person can pick the same team)
- HOW THE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED - WHO IS THE WINNER:
1) If there is only One Person who has picked the Team with the Highest Score that Week - They are the WINNER of the week (whether they are over or not - they picked the Team with the Highest Score) . . .
2) If more then One person picks the same Team with the highest Score for that week - Whoever is closest to the tie breaker question (Score) without going over, if needed, is the WINNER for that week . . .
3) If more then one Team Scores - The Exact Same Highest Score - Then the person who has come the closet to that score of both Teams without going over is the WINNER for that week and if there happens to be a tie, then both people will be declared WINNERS . . .
- You can only pick one team each week, and your choice must be made by the time the first game starts on that Day - Thursday Night: 3PM (EST) and Sunday: 12 NOON (EST). Absolutely - NO late entries this year, so please make your pick before kickoff.
