I just have a quick question is all..
I mainly use rdas but i changed my coilhead in my subohm tank 2 days ago and since i mostly use my rda i let the new coilhead sit in the juice for 2 days
But now i cant get rid of the taste of the liquid that was in there,
Its a brand new coilhead and im low so i rly dont wanna toss it, can i rinse it under warm water and let it dry?
Or will that ruin the cotton
Just putting in another liquid wont workt still taste the one before it
Kinda stupid on my part changed the head and let it sit for 2 days lol
But yeah thinking of rinsing it clean

Sorry for all my topics lol been having lots of questions

You won’t really ruin the cotton per se, but it won't be fresh; the new flavor might not shine to its full potential. A lot of folks here will add and vape some unflavored juice until the old flavored is greatly diminished. Some will soak with pure grain alcohol or vodka and rinse. I try to save the coil until I find a simular flavor to transition the taste over. If you used a flavor that contains anything strong like menthol or cinnamon, you might be out of luck.

A lot of folk will have a spare rebuildable atomizer to use just for the purpose of trying out new flavors. Also note, as your juice ages, the profile will become more mature and might taste more to your liking.

If you do use water, try to get distilled water if possible and let it dry as much as you can.

If you don't like the taste of menthol this won't help, but if it were me I'd run a tank or two of menthol liquid through it and see if that helped; otherwise I'd just cut my losses, junk the coil and wash out the tank.

At the end of the day, some games are just not worth the candle imho.

I have to agree with ya. I never had much success cleaning and rinsing a used coil head. Not worth the effort.

If the coil is mesh and you are just changing to another fruit mix after a half tank or so the old flavor will fade away. If changing to a different profile flavor buy some cheap vodka or everclear - rinse with tap water the drop the coil into a shot glass of the alcohol and leave for several hours or overnight - shake out & let it dry naturally.

My coils last quite a long time. Cotton not so much and I change it to get a fresh taste.

I take my RDA cap off, remove the cotton, and very very carefully place the coil and base to the RDA under the sink tap with the water flow on low, and FIRE it to clean it off. DO NOT GET WATER UNDER THE RDA, IT WILL KILL YOUR BOX MOD!!!! Then I put in new cotton.

I'm a bad boy. I should change my cotton more frequently but I get by.

WHAT I DID: If you use an RDA like me, stock up on GeekVape coils! I have all of the videos, gear and wire to make coils, but rarely do it. I use the ready made coils from GeekVape. There are other firms that used to make them, not sure who else is doing it right now.
