Quick phoenix question for you guys.

One of my screws doesn't go all the way down but I still wrap one of the wires around it. It works which is all that matters.

Well if it came down to having to do something, maybe finding a set of shorter screws is a possibility, then you could use the screws themselves to hold down the wire. Might be hard to find an exact shorter screw though if you don't know the threading specifics.

I'll keep an eye out for shorter screws but one thing that is neat about the phoenix is if it really irritates me I can just order a new one or get one of those A7s to try.

Just run the screws down snug and wrap your wire a few times around what's still showing under the heads, you want your coil up high (within reason) out of the juice anyway. It's a win win situation

I just slid off the plastic pieces and trimmed them down to about a quarter of the original length, they still hold the posts away from the sides well enough and the tops come nowhere near the coil.

This is pure win. Hopefully mine will slide off, I'll try it once it's time for a new coil. Thanks buddy.
