Quick Pilot Hybrid review

I recieved my Pilot from Steve at www.puresmoker.com on Saturday. First impressions upon opening the package were great! That has to be the best packaging for an ecig. Beautiful velvet lined box with a magnetic closing lid. I got the stainless steel hybrid, very gorgeous as well. I was blown away how short the whole unit was with the short battery, actually feels just like an analog. Very light in weight. At first I was getting 0 throat hit and poor vapor, but has I kept vaping away it started improving. The atomizer just needed awakening. I am now getting a great throat hit, not as much as my Dura (but hey, it's a Dura) but it's just enough, perfect really. Getting good vapor production as well. I wouldn't say it's as much as my 901, but it is still getting broken in. I can taste the flavor of my liquid more than my 901 and Dura. I do wish the LED was a little brighter, but it's a small downfall for a great ecig. All in all I love this thing and can see me using this as my primary ecig, with my Dura coming in second, and my 901 in third.

On a scale from 1-10

Appearance- 10/10 this thing is just gorgeous
Feel- 8/10 extremely light, with the smaller battery it feels like an analog
Draw- 9/10 very nice and easy draw
Vapor- 7/10 but I feel that is improving with every drag
Battery- 10/10 lasting much longer than any 901 I've used
Carts- 7/10 certainly don't hold as much liquid as a 901, but I mainly drip so I'm not too bummed about it
Throat hit- 9/10 not too much but enough to satisfy me greatly

Overall- 8.5/10 I am very impressed with this cig, and I feel like it's related to a good wine as it gets better with age

Have to say vapor is now 8/10. This thing really does get better with every drag, and very consistant.

I have the hybrid from PS too, bought three extra atoms for it at didn't even go thorough one yet, great quality and customer service, great cig to have around, its so small I almost misplace it!

I too found it gets better with time. When I first tried the pilot hybrid I thought it was good but didn't understand what all the fuss was about. Then suddenly, boom, throat hit became perfect, draw was easy, etc.
I mix and match parts/carts with the intellicig, but currently using the brass pilot atomizer and its working like a champ.
