quick question on battery size

Okay so i tried to wiki this no luck i couldn't figure it out because on the chart there was no model number listed for the 3.7 volt version of a aaaa battery. I need this size battery to replace the non rechargeable battery in one of my disposables. My plan is to convert the disposable to a rechargeable. any help is appreciated

I don't know off-hand the battery you'd need, but a typical AAAA alkaline battery is roughly 8.5 x 42.5mm. Hope that helps in your search

The smallest consumer available li-ion battery that I'm aware of is the AAA 10440.

Anyone know of a smaller one?

yeah i have a 10440 coming in on wednesday for the mag lite mini mod but im hoping to find a smaller one for a i guess refurbishment? of a disposable to rechargeable conversion

Good luck. It looks like 4xAs are pretty scarce, never mind rechargeables.

Apparently, 9 volt cells are actually made up of 4 AAAA, if you don't mind hacking up batteries. They can be recharged on a AAA charger.

ha one step of ahead of you there i already ripped one apart to get the aaaa but i dont think i can recharge them and also the original 9 volt cell has 6 aaaa in it so 9/4 = 1.5 volts approx. per aaaa cell so good idea but it just doesn't have the power for my appliction thanks for the input though i thought the same thing at first.

A quick Google turned up GP batteries, based in Hong Kong, that has a AAAA li-ion (170mAh) listed in this pdf.


ETA: They do make 9V li-ion cells; no idea if they are made from AAAA batteries .
