Quick question re: sizes of stuff.

I don't have a lot of hardware and it's pretty ghetto looking, and I want to change that.

How long are the ego cones? If I wanted to hide a carto or CE3 in one, would that be the 35mm length or 45ml length? And would the CE3 even fit through the hole...I'd think that if so, a normal 45mm carto would have loose space on the sides.

And does anyone know if they make CE3's that aren't XL's so they wouldn't stick out of the cone, as I expect the above question will be that the cone stops at the 35mm mark.

I don't know how big the CE3 is. I don't have any.

It's called a cone with cap. It's much longer than a regular cone. However, it's not a lot bigger around. So, not sure if it would work. Like I said I have no CE3's to test it on.

I was under the impression that the pen top thing there was only for the sapphire carto.

I'm just going to order the cone and find out. I'm sure most/all cartos besides the xxl stuff will fit. If not, then it'll just be using the old style cartos. I don't mind them, heck, I'm using one now.

Yes, it was originally designed for the Sapphire carto. But, it can be used for whatever you want.

However, I just checked it on a 510 Dual Coil Mega XL Carto (about 10mm diameter and 50mm long), and it doesn't quite fit. It slides all the way down until it hits a little lip that's ever so slightly wider at the base of the carto. And, that's the wider opening, the one at the base! The opening at the top end will just fit a drip tip, if your carto is short enough to not need to come up that far (about 40 or 45mm) or to fit a regular, standard-sized 510 carto.

Comes really, really close, but no cigar!
