Thanks but I tried to just screw the carto on and it didn't fit. And the blu carto is a male so that adapter won't work. Thanks a lot though.

That's odd. Blu uses 510 and I've used their cartos on my eGo. It should just screw on. The inner threads of an eGo are supposed to be 510.

That is what I was thinking it was the VISION ego part I wasnt sure of. Maybe it only has the ego connector not the dual one like my ego-Cs

My understanding is eGo is a style of battery so it should be consistent cross brands. At least in something important as threading. I have Twists but the Vision batteries I've seen all have the same threading, eGo on the outside, 510 on the inside. Something different would throw everything off, it wouldn't be compatible with a ton of devices.

Huh... knock off maybe?

I've looked around a bit and haven't been able to find an answer. I just got a vision ego but have some old blu carts left that I would like to use with the ego battery. So my question is if anyone knows of an adapter that would allow for this and, if so, what would be the conversion that I would be looking for? Thanks all

You have a link to the one you have? A photo maybe? A Blu carto should just screw into the inner 510 threads of any eGo style battery.

There is threading on the inside but it didn't seem to fit and I didn't want to force it but I guess it's worth another try. I'd feel stupid note if it does fit lol. About it being a knockoff: that is possible I guess. I am relatively new so I probably wouldn't have noticed. I ordered it from liberty-flights.

Nothing to feel stupid about at ALL. THis stuff has a learning curve and we were all there at one point or another. In my case I do things like that all the time. :)

Liberty Flights is a forum supplier. They've a section here. So, no, I wouldn't think they'd be selling knock offs. They'd have gotten the boot from the forum.

You know, with cartos (Blu and otherwise) I sometimes "miss" getting the threads aligned. It's actually a little more tricky than you'd expect for something you just screw in. You shouldn't have to force it, it should screw in easily. But sometimes lining it up takes more paying attention than I keep thinking it should. :)

Then there's Blu's "quality control". I started with them myself and was major unimpressed. Dumped the kit two weeks in. Maybe fiddle a bit with 'em a bit but, myself, I wouldn't put a lot of effort into anything Blu.

(Okay, I'll give them this much, they got me started and were my introduction to vaping. They just got really annoying and ended up costing as much as smoking! Their cartos are way overpriced. I wanted to like their set up. It's got a real "cool" factor going. Unfortunately, they seem to have spent more time on "cool" than that "make it work" part)

Lol. Thanks for the support. So I just tried it again and (voila) it fits! Lol. Maybe there was a problem with that specific one and I guess I gave up too quickly. Thanks a lot everyone and that makes it much easier than buying an adapter. And I get to finish those ones.

Ah, there ya go!

Yeah, like I was ranting above, Blu's quality control leaves a lot to be desired.

Still, I've bought a pack of their "Classic Tobacco" here and there. There's something about that flavor I like that I can't (well, yet) find anywhere else. Though I'm getting pretty close with JC's "Domestic". JC makes Blu's flavors and I bet CT is based on Domestic. Wish I could figure out what they changed.
