Now that I'm regaining my sense of taste, I'm able to taste subtle burnt flavors coming from my devices.

I am currently running a 650 mAh smoktech passthrough with a vision vivi nova clearomizer at 1.8 ohms. I have not yet dry burned this coil as part of a cleaning because it is relatively new.

My other tank is a ce5 running the same battery with a 2.2 ohm coil. This one has been dry burned as of last night's cleaning.

I seem to be catching slight burnt flavors after about the third or fourth solid pull from the device withing maybe a 2-3 minute period.

Any ideas? Should I maybe up the resistances in my coils?

I should also note that my juices are all 50/50 mixes at 14 mg/ mL.

I don' t think ohms are the problem, more likely it's just not wicking fast enough.
Some tilt-n-swirl action can help juice it up, or maybe shorting the wicks.

I agree with this, but would suggest taking out some of the flavor wicking to see if it will help speed up the wicking and allow it to keep up with your vaping.
