What do I mean by 'quirky'? I am referring to how flavors are perceived by my tongue/brain. It might only be one vendor's version of that flavor. This isn't a like or dislike. It is the flavor coming off as something different.
ex: Why does this cantaloupe taste like bubblegum?
Picky is a different topic. I can recognize that the flavor is accurate, doesn't change the fact that I don't like banana vapes.
So...as far as quirky goes, here are some of mine:
Cantaloupe tastes like bubble gum. Have tried multiple vendors. This has been the case every time. And it is not a cantaloupe gum, it is a straight up bazooka joe bubble gum.
Some peach flavors come off like peach lotion. Yes, lotion. This seems to be a particular flavor manufacturer. I have had plenty of peaches that taste great. Only a couple that don't.
TPA/TFA raspberry barely registers a flavor, but that flavor doesn't come across as anything edible.
Cotton Candy has been more like chemical candy, blech.
Anyhow, I figured I can't be alone in this. We might find overlapping tastes and be able to share recommendations.
Note: Flavor is subjective. Any statements made about manufacturer and/or vendor are not meant to be derogatory, but merely a personal experience that seems to be the exception and not the norm.
