Quit smoking 1 week ago, but now I'm in a dilemma... Help please

How out of shape are you it maybe your fatigue is from the added stress of working out as a long time addict of nicotine i can say if you can get away from it completely do so few more months of your regime you will be the better for it to drop the nicotine all together. I would keep the ecigs for emergency situations keep up the good work.

since you cannot quit smoking in a short time and you have tried quitting several times and you didn't make it, you probably donnot have that strong willpower. why not have a try of e-cig, put every detail into consideration,take down every feeling you get and keep a record of your body condition everyday, and get one solution that suits you best. i believe that you can finally make it.

Well quitting smoking and starting a work out program at the same time is probably stressing your body a fair bit, it sounds like you are young and if you can quit cold turkey that's great. But you have said you tried several times before, therefore I'm not going to tell you not to vape, it's about harm reduction. If you can't make it cold turkey then absolutely go to vaping then gradually reduce your nicotine. Don't forget to drink plenty of water, vaping is dehydrating and you are working out as well, stay hydrated and don't push your self too hard.

Not only does nicotine cause an artificially elevated metabolism but studies have shown that smoking can cause a higher than normal Free T3 level. FT3 is the unbound hormone that your thyroid produces to keep your body, including your metabolism, functioning properly. Losing both side effects at the same time can be rough. I'm certainly not saying you have a thyroid problem and your symptoms are common and usually temporary to quitting as others have mentioned, but I did want to point out that since smoking disguises the symptoms many people don't even realize their thyroids are off until they quit. (Happened to me.) If the fatigue and lethargy last longer than a month though I'd suggest going in and having your doctor run a full thyroid work up, preferably with Free T3 and Free T4 included if he/she is willing.
