hehe someone said you were placing an "ad". Should inform him that the ECF doesn't sell anything.
LOL - the whole "article" is nothing but an advertisement for Blu. The "commenter" as well was acting for Blu. That's why he (or she) didn't like Traver's comment!
Could be but I don't see any connection to Blue within the article.
I still had a copy of the article up on my screen. Here are some quotes from it:
"A new study found that 31 percent of smokers who were first-time buyers of “Blu” e-cigarettes reported that they had completely stopped smoking six months after buying them."
"The “Blue” brand of e-cigarettes provides nicotine to users without any combustion or smoke and doesn’t have any of the chemicals found in tobacco cigarettes, some of which are carcinogenic. The “Blue” e-cigarettes come in normal tobacco flavor and the more exotic Cherry Crush, Java Jolt and Magnificent Menthol."
Yes, I still maintain the article was nothing but a disguised ad for Blu. And the fact that's it's now been taken down doesn't change that belief.
Actually, before there were three tabs, with the story you quoted from on the first tab "Article". What you see on the "Lab Report" tab is what was there before, and merely summarizes Dr. Siegel's study without editorializing about how wonderful the brand is.
So they removed the Article tab altogether and blanked out the Comments page.
I suspect that if you put your comments back in, they won't be removed.
Posting Comments doesn't work for me anymore. Any way this site is just too small to be worth all of this trouble.
Here's another one about free trial ripoffs.

There is a standing announcement on e-cigarette-forum warning people to steer clear of so-called free trials. It is an absolute shame that unscrupulous companies are giving e-cigarettes a bad name. I must point out, however, that a statement of conjecture in the FDA's release was reported in this story as if it were a proven fact. The words in the FDA's press release, "Public health experts expressed concern that the products could," were changed to "The FDA said the products can." This is not the case. In fact, e-cigarette vapor contains much lower levels of nicotine than cigarette smoke, and e-cigarettes have not caused an increase in tobacco use among youth. In fact, adults who smoked for decades, who had almost given up all hope of every being able to quit, are successfully using e-cigarettes as a replacement for all their smoked cigarettes. Over 90% report that their health has imroved. E-cigarette-forum provides product reviews as well as advice and support on product use.
