Well done, keep it up.

For some people it is as easy as that, it was for me, get your self plenty of supplies, and if you do happen to break and have an analogue, don't sweat it. Work out why and adjust your vaping to suit your needs. I spent about $120 all up experimenting but now it costs less than $10 a week. You will probably end up enjoying vaping more than you ever enjoyed smoking. I used to use the 510-t but I switched to cartomizers after a while as I find they give me the best result and are convenient.

I have had no troubles at all with the one exception, in the mornings when I get up, I try to have a vape but I just cough, but if I roll a small white ox and have just a couple of drags(no cough) I then seem to be able to vape alright, I am going to post this next Qu. elsewhere as well but does anyone have any suggestions on vapeing first thing in the morning?????

I find that first thing in the morning my reaction to the throat hit is more sensitive. I think that you build up a tolerance to it during the day and then over night that diminishes and then it can make you cough. Are you using nicotine? if you are try making a weaker brew for the morning. It may help. When I smoked I found I got the same thing. It could also be your lungs getting sensitive as they start to clear themselves. This is just a few thoughts, someone else may have a better suggestion.

Good luck with it.

lol, well I do only have 36mg atm, I think that in my next order I should include some 12-18mg even if it is just for the mornings, I am going to get some flavourless nic juice as well so I can have a crack at DIY.............
I think that you may be right about the throat being more senitive as it starts to clear itself, since its only those couple of puffs on a analoge in the morning is all I have, the throat is defenantly starting to heal itself......
My sense of taste is improveing as with smell(I need a shower lol) so hopefuly with some weaker juice I should be alright, may even add some vg to dilute it a little as well, call it my wakeup mix.......lol

Well done dazza, I found it so easy at first I was blown away, in fact I quit almost by accident. I am still smokefree and have no desire to smoke analogs at all.

I've also noticed that the first few drags in the morning I am more sensitive too, but that settles fairly quickly :)

You could also have a different brew for the mornings perhaps, a lower nic level, or the same nic content with a higher ratio of VG, this will also reduce the TH :)

...does anyone have any suggestions on vapeing first thing in the morning?????

I'm a menthol smoker at heart so obviously biased, but nothing wakes me up quicker (not even coffee) and expands my airwaves than a good vape on an icy cool menthol. :p It's like your first breath outside on a cold clear day. :) Of course that just gets me out of bed and to the coffee pot to be honest. :D

Well done dazza ! I hope it continues to be so easy for you - sometimes it can get hard unexpectedly, and I've had to remind myself that 'failure is not an option'.

Like you, I've sometimes had a cough problem first thing in the morning. I suspect it comes from how you're used to smoking, taking a big lungful. With vaping, sometimes it helps to inhale into your mouth first, then into your lungs, rather than open the passage and pull it all the way in. Lots of vapers find they have to do mouth then lungs. Good luck with finding what works for you!

Congrats ... I was skeptical at first as well ... but 3 months on and no cigarettes.
The E-cig is the first product that has truly helped me quit .. with no cravings.
The thing is amazing :)

Hiya Psine,

Good to see you over here. Isn't it wonderful being a vaper.

Not sure about you but I left the cigs behind with Zero withdrawals as well.

I got a Halo G6 recently and I have not had a smoke since I charged the batteries up and started vaping ... 3 weeks ago. No cravings, no psycho woman, no nothing. There has not seemed to be a transition, it was that easy.

I started on 12mg and am now down to 6mg and my recent order has some with 0mg but also unflavoured 6mg just incase I do crave the nicotine hit.

I don't have an issue with mornings and like katz-in-boots draw into my mouth before inhaling, I also find that I can taste the flavours better that way too as they sweep across my tongue.

I'm hugely impressed by how easy it has been all round. My little 8yr old is SO proud of me and that makes the achievement all the sweeter for me.

Happy vaping peeps :D

I accidentally switched over to no analogs. Now, after more than 8 months of no analogs, I accidentally switched over to no nicotine and no added flavoring. Walked right out of the nicotine no problem at all. I didn't think it would ever happen after 52 years of smoking tobacco cigarettes. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu
