Been messing around with fillers on my 510. I thought I had settled on Fluval. It worked great for a few months, but I developed asthma-like symptoms. I switched from PG to VG, to no avail. I finally switched back to PTB filler, and all symtoms disappeared, almost overnight. There was no evidence of it, but I guess I was smoking foam. My personal experience indicates that PTB is still the best filler for 510 carts. Your milage may vary.

Nope! The HighPing cart plug mod IMO. but be prepared to go through 4-5mls/day. And before you ask, I tried 5 different variations of the PTB. I also tried fluval and blue foam. Didn't like the taste period.

I still have not had any use for the PTB yet, myself. The Blue foam is working fine for my standards - I don't have any juice that is too thick to wick.

Hi, I have a question for you regarding the Blue Foam. I recently ordered some of this from one of the suppliers and want to try it out. The only thing I've tried in the carts is the poly that comes with them and I can't seem to get consistancy with it. I read that the Blue Foam is treated to kill bacteria in the fishtanks, not sure if that's correct or not? Anyway if I ordered from supplier do I need to wash it out before using it? Also do you use just the BF, or something else with it like a straw mod? Thanks!

Blue Foam -- kept getting an off taste with it, even when thoroughly washed and rinsed.

PTB -- used it for a month or so, too much trouble in getting just right so that it wouldn't leak.

Aquaclear foam -- been using it for several months now. No added taste, wicks well and lasts at least 3 days. I'll use this until the Tesla "filter" is available (if ever it is).

Have y'all tried this much, much easier PTB mod by Kristin? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/52430-ptb-straw-mod-ptb-made-easy.html . I haven't yet (waiting on delivery of my PTBs 'cause I can't find 'em here), but I will always try anything Kristin recommends. She's da bomb:)

+1 on AquaClear foam. I've been using it in my 510 for 3 months and no weird taste and wicks perfectly. No more fiddly teabag or crappy polyfill for me. I even use it in my 801/302.

Success with this. AquaClear > PTB.

No matter how I fiddled with PTB, it leaked or got too dry at the top. Frayed it, folded it different ways, didn't matter.

Of course, you're probably using a HV device like me.

Polyfill fibers have a habit of getting up into the coil area and burning. The plastic gives it an incredible flavor. ;)

Why not just get a juice box mod and never worry about carts or cart fillers again.Or filling them for for that matter.:D

Stop tempting me and making me anxious for my MP1 to come in the mail! 8-o

Because it is an overpriced ghetto mod nothing more

35.00 for a juice-fed mod is overpriced?? Or is he referring to the more expensive one?
