David,

I received my 2 delrin tips today.

I need some quick advice.

The reg. lngth tip measures : o ring end OD = .340

Shorty o ring end OD = .344

Atty ID = .344

I didn't remove the o ring to meas. the full lngth of the shorty OD (didn't want to booger up the o ring). Anyways, no need to. Visual and fingernail insp. shows a ballpark .004 raised edge at insertion point. Adjacent surface probably faced after OD generated.

Don't have much experience with plastic, none with delrin. Can I finger turn that edge on a fine flat file or do you suggest paper?

PS: I was using a modified 510 cart to drip-- Your tips are a huge upgrade.:toast: Nice fit and finish for the price. NC and carbide?

Thanks

Isn't it funny what we throw in our toolbox. I have what looks like a dog nail file that is shaped perfectly for the task.

It worked-- fit is good. Sorry to bother you.

No problem! I looked at one and see exactly what you mean. Thats just some roll over from when the cutting tool goes in, the plastic gets a bit hot as they are made on a high speed swiss machine turning at several thousand rpm:)
