So today I was at the Gas station with my Jeep. I was talking on the phone and put my 3 week old REO on my rear oversized offroad tire (40"). I gassed up at $3.69 a gal, got my receipt from the pump, angry it cost me like 65 bucks to fill, and got back in all salty and still talking on the phone. Started the Heep up and drove off. Got to the entrance of the station to enter traffic and realized what I had done.:( Long story short the REO survived! It's got some scrapes and a few pitts in it now but it survived with my cannon 306 DT and my IKV 306 atty in tact. It still vapes. This thing is a tank. The best mod ever if it can stand up to my general stupidity.

Some of us need electronic bracelets that are programmed to beep loudly if we get more than 2 feet away from our Reos.

This would be a great idea. At least if I forget where I put my phone when I am at home I can call myself. Someone should come up with a beeper system mod.

can I say "BEST THREAD EVER!!!"?
I love this, thanks for the report! Now your 3 week old Reo is finally broken in.

(of course i'd never intentionally abuse any of my Reos, but things do happen)
once again, thanks for the report. & I'm so glad that you are so glad you bought it!!!

I think you meant best TREAD ever. Whats a few tread marks to a Reo. I guess nothing and to think I worried about a little 3 foot drop to the tile floor.

Damage update: I apparently lost the 2 magnets in the door. The pressure of the Jeep running it over or the initial fall probably popped the adhesive/epoxy loose. It would make sense because when I picked it up the door was off. So... Tire rolls forward, Reo falls about 35" then the Jeep runs it over. I didn't notice because the electrical tape on my battery holds the door tight. I was cleaning it today when my atty died and took the batt and bottle out, cleaned it up and was charging the batt while using my Provari. Picked it up when the batt was charged by the sides and the door just slid off and hit the carpet. No biggie, the REO survived but need some more magnets I guess. Does anybody know if Rob sells spare magnets? I don't see 'em on the site.
