I've been lurking around here for a month or so, thought it was time to jump in. I have been trying to find my way around this so I can quit smoking once and for all. I read a lot (not enough I'm realizing) and started out with a Kr808d-1,auto I liked it ok, but I still had a few smokes a day. Then I ordered a KGO kit, but had to send it back because of a color mix up, so I went to the local Vaperite store and picked up a ego-t to hold me over until I got the kgo back (which came today) So I'm set for awhile .. right? :) Now that I have that out of the way, I have a few random questions.

Is it ok to charge the ego-t with a iPhone usb plug? or possible the plug for the kgo or 808?
How do I clean out a clearomizer to fill with different flavor juice?
Also, I got a vivi nova neptune tank and it has a weird taste going on.. the juice taste fine in the mini nova I have so it's not the juice, is there a way to make that go away? :)
and finally, how much vaping is too much vaping? I seem to do it all the time!

Well, welcome!
So, first of all..experimenting with kits is good. Good until you find one you love and you can just improve it from there.
I honestly, out of experience as well..would not charge any e-cig without it's proper charger. That's just me though. When I did it with a different charger, my battery life seemed to lack a few hours for some reason. That and a lot of people have had issues with batteries dying out a lot sooner than they should.
How to you clean your clearomizer? There's a lot of methods out there. Some just rinse it with hot water a few times. Most people soak everything(tank, atties, silicone stoppers, wicks, drip tips) in vodka, which works amazingly if you have access to it. Whenever you do clean it, make sure you dab the wicks dry with a q-tip and run it around the edges as well. About once a week you want to dry-burn. If you don't know what that is, you just attach the battery to your tank and run it a couple of times. Don't do it too much or you will burn out the coils. When doing this..make sure your silicone stopped and tips are off. After that, let it sit for a minute then refill!
As for the weird taste, make sure your atty is clean. Sometimes when juice gets in there, it makes a gurgle sound or it starts tasting funny. Just remove the tank from the battery and gently blow through the tip..have a paper towel at the bottom to catch the juice that was in there. If that's not it..if it's a new tank then you still might be breaking it in. If it's not, you may have to replace the coils or wicks
As for how much to vape, that really depends on you. I was a heavy smoker, so when I started out..I never set it down it seemed like. Then I was okay to be without it for an hour or two. If I'm chillin' at home, I smoke all the time. I love the nic-high and it's fun, so why not? I've been lowering my nic-high just to see if I can ween myself off of nicotine..so that's something to consider with how much you vape and such. Depending on the juice, I might want to vape it constantly haha.
It all just really depends in the end:)

Ah, into the technical aspects of it.. So once you take off your tip, get some tweezers and GENTLY wiggle that plug out. With mine, I just used a bobby pin to get it loose without messing up the metal tip poking out of it. You want to get that plug out when cleaning your tank and wicks, too. Always remove the plug haha. You want to wash that, too.
Dude, Vanilla flavors are the shiiiit:) I love that stuff. Vaping Razzle Berry right now, Vanilla is my next fill.
Oh, just fyi..Clear flavors do a lot less damage to your wicks. And if you vape vanilla then want to switch, I usually get it down to the very bottom and just add the other juice. Nine times out of ten it wont taste funny. If it does, it will go away. I personally don't like cleaning my tank more than three times a week. That's just me though. I usually vape clear/lightly colored juice. It's just less cleaning and together they usually taste fine haha. I guess that all depends on how brave you are on experimenting.
:)

I have only been using the 12mg nic, maybe it's too low and thats why I want to toot all day, whatever the reason I'm glad I don't care to smoke a cig anymore!

That's good! I vape that level of nic everyday..I think that's the highest I have out of all my juices at the moment actually. When I first started vaping, I relapsed once. Never again, though. I'm proud of you! Good job!:)

Amazon.com: PowerGen Dual USB 3.1A 15w Travel Wall Charger with Swivel plug for Apple iPad 2, New iPad 3, iPhone 5 4s 4 3 3Gs, Amazon Kindle Fire HD DX KeyBoard, Samsung Galaxy Tab (USB Cable NOT included) - BLACK: Home Improvement

I tend to use one of these for anything that requires a USB hookup. It has the power to handle anything, and works well with the entire range of products I have.

For something like the Spinner, I plug the USB charger into that and the Spinner into the charger. For the Volt X2, the cord plugs straight into the USB charger and the Volt.

Thanks:)
To be honest, I haven't cleaned anything as of yet, I just been filling these .....es up. I didn't know I was suppose to clean it regularly ..oops.
So for serious 3 times a week?

Yeah, cleaning makes them last longer before you have to get a new one or if you're going to just rebuild.
Yeah, about three times a week. Really depends on the vapor. The more dark liquid I get, the more I clean. But on average three times a week. If you clean them too much, your coils will end up dying faster, same with the wicks.
You could use your iPod charger..just be careful and aware.
