Hello again...

Thanks to my e-cigs I haven't had an analog since Nov. 30. I've gotten better at inhaling to get what I need out of it, which is a lengthy draw straight into the lungs with plenty of menthol throat hit. I think what I have is called an ego CE 5+. First question: I frequently inhale until the little blue light starts flashing. I did figure out that means Stop, but by pushing my little unit to the limit like that very often, am I damaging anything? Battery, atomizer, coil?

Second question: Should I be paying attention to what position my e-cigs are in (as in horizontal, vertical, etc) when not in use? I've been keeping the one I'm using in an interior jacket pocket, so it stays vertical most of the time but not always. The backup one has been riding around in a baggie inside a bag and probably gets in every position imaginable including completely upside down. I have had some minor leaking issues and a little gurgling, but I think the gurgling was from refilling it all wrong (didn't know to avoid the little center hole).

Thanks for any help!

As to your first question, no, you are not at risk of damaging your battery. It is a safety feature designed to cut the power if the button is pressed for a certain length of time. Your description may suggest you might need to look into something that gives you a little ....more. Protank or Nautilus maybe.

With those CE 5 tanks, position shouldn't matter too much (but I haven't used one like that in some time), but my rule of thumb is to keep everything upright as much as possible

The e-cig has quickly become a hobby flooded with choices. Most good, some junk. Rebuildables (RDA's and RTA's) are going to give you your biggest nic hit and flavor. For example. A dual coil built to .7ohms RTA on a Mech Mod will give ten times the vape for the same output as say an Evod Tank on a Ego battery. Some tanks can be laid down, some can't. My I-Clear X.1 doesn't matter what position it's left in. RTA', upright only. Evod tanks will leak slow in time. Aerotank and other air valve adjustables don't like being laid down...except the Aerotankmini....It seems to be hit and miss with some of these. RDA's (dripper) if you just have enough to soak just the wick you can lay those down. Start watching youtube vids on products and 'How To's'. You have a ton of choices to learn about and have fun collecting to your funds limits. :D

Thanks for the information, sounds like I'm not doing any damage and I don't need to worry about keeping my e-cigs upright. Upgrading is not an option right now, but what I do have seems to be doing its job... namely, keeping me off the analogs. I take the long draws not because less is insufficient, but because the longer I experience that menthol feel hitting the back of my throat, the more satisfying it is.
