I haven't quite figured out the terminology. I know the names of all the parts, but what do you call the complete assembled unit? I've been calling them smokers.
Right now I lay the one I'm using on an old wooden pencil stand, which puts it at around 30 degrees from horizontal with the tip up. I've seen pictures of them on stands held vertically or horizontally. I read one post where someone said keeping them vertical could flood the wick. Is there a best choice position to keep them in? Maybe it doesn't matter.
I asked a question earlier about using them in a hot vehicle. Someone suggested storing it tip down to stop the gurgling caused by overheated juice. Tried it and it worked. If you're reading this, thanks for the help. I was going to thank you on that thread but it disappeared off down the list and I couldn't find it again.
