I am so sick of eleaf and their stupid Isticks....or atleast the ones I keep getting from my vape shope. I have gone through 6 total (4 30w and 2 50W). This has been all within 6 months. 30w I owned gave me an atty short error tried fixing multiple times with no luck.(yes I tried every o ring and prying trick I have read about) no luck still atty short every tank deck adaptor. FINALLY I said ok lets give the 50W a try for my all day vape. Not to found of its size although is smaller for a 50 first one I get fire button continually gets stuck and eventually stopped working. took it apart cleaned it out button was clicking still nothing tossed it bought a new one. this one I got about 2 weeks ago and again the fire button is not freaking working I'm so sick of this. you would think for the amount of money I spent eleaf would rectify my situations but nope not with out my original receipt even though I have my authentication stickers. NEVER BUYING ELEAF PRODUCTS AGAIN!!!!

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I can't complain about mine. I use the istick TC40W. Got it about a month ago, and can't seem to put it down. For 28 bucks, 40 watts and temperature control it seemed like an ideal low-end vape. It's been worth every penny, and I will get another.

I assume with your authentication stickers you're sure you're getting a real authentic?????

I know it sucks, but the receipt is the only way they have to determine how old the unit actually is. Unlike mods that cost your proverbial 'arm and leg', the warranty is usually very limited and because of their low cost, very short.

I never really thought about the date kind of feel stupid now....but still doesn't justify that many bad units over that span of time

So why keep buying them if you have 6?
I had mine for 6 months, flawless and not a single problem. Only reason I don't have it is because I gave it to someone that had a mod stolen. Honestly, you might get mad, but after 6 mods that went bad. I have doubts it's the company, maybe something you're doing. Even my dads has been working with no problems except battery life dropping so he just uses the backup iStick 50w he had and he had his longer than me.

Regarding a 30w, my friend had hers since February I believe and not a single problem either. She doesn't use it just because she upgraded to something with more watts. The only iStick 50w problem I have witnessed first hand was a result of the guy that was using it. The thing was covered in juice and he kept getting a no atomizer screen.

I don't see a problem with them needing an original receipt. Every company requires an original receipt for warranty except for Joyetech, they just ignore you from the beginning.

I have 5 of them. 2 20's and 3 30's. Have another 30 on its way to me. My 20's are almost a year old. Bought in Nov and dec last year. My 30's are over 6 months old. No problems yet other than the fact that the 20's don't control the power as well as the 30's. That is a design flaw that was fixed in the 30's.
I would have to go with something about the way they are being used or the shop you are buying from isn't getting authentic isticks. JMHO Hopefully you will find something that will hold up for you.

When the istick first came out it was like the best bang for the buck for a smoker starting out vaping.

to my mind its not supposed to be costly, or rugged;
its supposed to be a cheap startup, get-a-chance-to-figure-this-out kind of device.

by the time it dies, which eventually has to happen, it's time for a replaceable battery mod

I only have experience with the 20 watt version but I love it... I bought it in May of this year and no problems... I gave it to a friend who is trying to quit icky sticks and they use it everyday also with no problems. With that level of bad luck on six units.. I would go out and buy a lottery ticket as your bad mojo has been used up and the good karma just may make you a winner.
Happy Vaping
Cheers

Had my 50w for 3 months now and love it. It's my mod I take to work as a beat up mod and she has taken some damage and still works like a charm. If mine can fall out of a semi truck multiple times while getting out and still work great than you should have 6 that work even better!
