Rash on palm of my hand

I've tried searching this forum for something related to my experience. But have yet to find anything.

I recently bought a Ovale eGo-c, and also bought some Ovale juice (cappuccino, and a free sample of tobacco). If I use my eGo-c for a while, it will start leaking.

One day at work, I was using it quite often. I noticed it started leaking some, so it would get on my hands. Later that day I started breaking out in a bad rash on the palms of my hands, itched very bad and dried them out. I wasn't sure if it was the juice or something on the keyboard or mouse that I was using. I decided to stop vaping to see if I still got it. I wasn't getting the rash the next day, so I went back to vaping. Two days later, I was using it like crazy when I was drinking, and it started to leak. The rash came back very fast once it started leaking, but it didn't itch like the first time, just dried out my hands this time.

The rash looks like red pin sized dots covering my palms. Also to note, I do not have any problems with a rash anywhere else like a normal allergic reaction to PG or VG. My chest feels fine as well when the rash is occurring.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Welcome to ECF! Does this happen with one juice or both? Have you tried switching flavors? You may be sensitive to one of the flavorings.

Could be a symptom of something unrelated to vaping. Seriously recommend seeing doc. No joke.

I am unfamiliar with the ovale. Is it made of metal? Possibly a nickel allergy?

Forgot to mention. When this rash starts, I wash my hands and it goes away within an hour or two. Also it is made of metal, but again, only happens when it starts leaking on me. I've been trying these new flavors, and it seems like its going well so far. It has to be the juice that's causing the rash.

Nicotine in your juice will irritate your skin. The next time you have leaking, wash your hands immediately and clean your PV. Also, if you're having leaking that bad, I would consider trying another type of hardware. Nothing should be constantly leaking if it's working properly.
