That would have most likely been an aussie built sky tractor. I don't think anyone would use a 400+ MPH $2m WW2 fighter for that... Not enough wing area for those low speeds

That is a sky tractor alright. Seen them ALLOT. I love the sound of that turbo prop. Soo how wide and thick those wings and elevators are! That's why they can climb, dive and turn on a dime. Great little planes.
