Ratio help!!!

Okay.....if I bought a 15ml bottle of 70vg/30pg 12mg nic liquid and mixed it with 15ml of straight pg, what would the new ratio be?

I love this flavor and they only make it in high vg and high vg makes me short of breath!!! Any help is much appreciated

Thanks!!! If I add about 7.5ml of the high vg back in for flavor @ 6mg nix would that make it closer to 50/50?

Add either PG or VG will dilute flavor and nic level more.

The 15 ML you have now 20/80 = 3 ml PG 12 ML VG
15 ML plus 15 ml PG added = 30 ML with 18 ML PG and 12 ML VG
15 ML plus 15 ml PG and 7.5 ML VG added = 18 ML PG and 19.5 ML VG

Not quite 50/50 more vg than 50

Sorry misread your ratio. Thought you started with 20/80. Slightly different starting with 30/70

15 ML 30/70 = 4.5 ML PG 11.5 ML VG

Mixed with 15 ml pg = 19.5 ML PG 11.5 ML PG

Mixed with another 7.5 ML VG = 19.5 ML PG 18.5 ML VG

Close to 50/50 with slightly more PG

@vapeshan We are not being mean. I didn't do the math myself when I first started vaping because I was afraid I'd miss a step or piece of the equation. I didn't know about ECF when I was a beginner.

He's good Letitia....Here's what he has currently. Flavor may be weak diluted but 2/3 rds but is close to what he wants pg/vg

(15 ML bottle of 70vg/30pg 12 mg nic) plus (15 ml bottle of 70vg/30PG 6 mg nic) Plus (15 ML bottle of PG)? Total of 45 ML liquid.

That would be (12 MG X 15 ml) or 180 mg of nicotine, (6 mg x 15 ML) or 90 mg of nicotine, (0 MG x 15 ml) or 0 nicotine. Total of 270 mg of nicotine. (270 mg nicotine / 45 ml) = 6 MG Nicotine per ML

(70VG/30PG 12 mg nic 15 ml bottle) = 10.5 ML VG and 4.5 ML PG, (30PG/70VG 6 mg nic 15 ML bottle) - 10.5 ML VG and 4.5 ML PG. (15 ML bottle of PG) = 15 ML PG. Totals = PG 24 ML (24 ml/45 ml =53.3%). VG 21 ML (21 ml /45 ml = 46.6%).

6 MG nic 53.3% PG/ 46.6% VG
