Just picked one up on a whim -meant for my Twists on the go. Impressive little tank. I have several single and dual coil tanks also, but I'd like to recommend this tank for the newbies for it's low price and and good vapor. IMO, it performs the same as or even better than my Mini Protank II. I plan on getting a few more because I like to change flavors throughout the day.

Surprisingly, I found (IMHO) the Kanger EVOD clearo the "best" of the Kanger toppers. YMMV, of course, but I find it the least "fuss-free" even for "non-rebuilders." Somehow, even though the coils are exactly the same as the Pro Tank 2 and Protank Mini, I just like that little clearo.

Especially for new vapers, always a good suggestion of a "try-it" clearo to see if one likes bottom coils over the typical top coils like the iclears or CE4/5's.

I think I was very lucky that the Kanger Evod beginner kit I started with came with the Evod clearomizers. They are easy to use and work so well. I was able to start off vaping successfully, without any equipment failures to slow me down or frustrate me.

When I upgraded and got Vision Spinners, the Evods worked great on them, too. I recently got an MVP 2, and I'm so happy the Evods work great on that nifty little device also.

I ordered several more and have them loaded up and rotate my juice throughout the day.

I'm retired and on a pretty tight budget. I like that the Evods are inexpensive, usually $5 or $6, and so are the coils that go with them. What's not to like?

Evods are great little tanks and I use them often for out and about. BTW, if you are like me and need reading glasses to see the juice level in the Evod, try the Vision Vpure. It uses the same coils, but is totally clear. I seems to hold a bit more liquid, although I haven't really measured it.

Thanks for the tip, Grimwald. That is really the only problem I've had with my Evods. I not only need my reading glasses, I have to hold the tank at just the right angle to see the juice level in the little window.:)

Is the Vision Vpure available online somewhere?

Yeah, holding it up to the light and using reading glasses is a sure sign of aging...the older you are, the more light you need.

Here are ca couple of places to buy the vpure:

Vision VPure eGo Bottom Coil Clearomizer

Vision V. Pure BCC Bottom Coil Clearomizer for 510/eGo | SmokTek.com

Thanks everybody, for your input! It's great to see people with more experience posting in the newbie thread! I just ordered these and am anxious to try them.

Congratulations! You really can't go wrong with them. They are cheap, widely available, cute, many colors, light-weight, not too-fussy, easy to clean, and you can rebuild the heads when you want to start tinkering. The only issue is condensation builds-up in the non-removable drip tip. These tanks work really with all of my juices, but they really shine with menthol ejuices.

I just got two more EVODs. Cheap and pretty good flavour. First one came in the starter kit.

Recoiling... way over my head for now.

I'm a grandma, and a do-it-yourselfer. I sew, I've put up wallpaper, installed vinyl plank floors, etc. All that said, I do not want to rebuild coils. They cost about a buck a piece, and considering what I spent on smoking, they are a real bargain!

I think it's great for those who like to tinker with it, and get better flavor, vapor, etc. But me, I'm happy with buying mine.:)

I agree with all the above postings. Good product.

However, since I do not have good vision, I fell in love with it's cousin - The Kanger T3s. Similar price, same coils, and I can "see clearly now"...

I have several in rotation. Cleaning them is so easy for me since I wear dentures. Just drop one of the denture cleaning tabs in a (1/2 quart) jar of warm water along with the unscrewed atty's, and let them soak overnight - 24 hours is best. Then, rinse in hotish wather several times. Place in warm oven to dry completely, and a quick 5 second dry burn or 2 will make them like new. This cleaner seems top bleach out the dark stains from the darkest gookiest juice - yet leaves no after taste.
