so far I have only used cartos and carto tanks. I've been vaping since February and I'm analog free and loving it. I've been watching a lot of videos about these genesis style attys and they look awesome. but I feel as if I need to gain some basic knowledge about attys in general so I want to start with an rba. been looking at the vision eternity. looks well built and the price seems reasonable. what are your thoughts ? and If there is another RBA that's around that same price range, easy to use and a bit newer then please relay some info about it and I will gladly do some research. thank you all in advance

Here's what I think when I read your question ("read" pesky word when it comes to tense; "did he mean READ or READ?"). I think, nobody ever talks about the vision eternity in this forum, ever. Which makes me think, not so good. What all are you looking for? (portability, tank, dripping, etc) What device are you powering it with?

Oops. Sorry. Just saw a thread about them. (2 people leak, 1 doesn't)

sleek looking often equals harder for a beginner because of tiny work space. Not too difficult, just a little more difficult. Best bet is IGO-L. (Won't look good on spinner; but you can try it, build it, vape it at home and be ready when your vamo arrives). Best look (more difficult) IGO-S. Don't be buying any Clone Mini Genesis anythings(mini-DID-clone, mini-Cobra-clone). They will frustrate an experienced builder and kill the spark in a beginner. (note; AGA is not a clone)

That is so crazy to tell a new vapor not to test out on the clones to save some money and even see if he wants to rebuild. He doesn't want to join any klicks, he just wants to try the rebuilds. All I have are clones and they work great, but I'm not a newbie either.

I've seen alot of frustration with them. I've tried two. I find it very hard to produce the kind of satisfying vape people read about and try to reproduce with them. I'm glad they work for you. :)

The Phoenix is a decent place to start. It is slimmer. I enjoyed mine (first RBA). Condensation and heat build up in the atty after about 5-10 good draws and the flavor and vapor production drop off. But it was a great place to start. Flavor and vapor production are better in the IGO-L and it holds more juice (~double)

well thank you both for your input. I guess I'll just buy them all at the same time and then progressively take steps to experimenting with them and rebuilding them as well. all as in the octopus, eternity, and the igo l. shouldn't break the bank too much. I'm guessing close to 80 bucks if I add some wick and wire

operating word should be mini, not clone. I have the mini Did clone and it is way harder to work with than an AGA. In the end they both end up on my regular rotation setups though.

The A7 looks great on an ego/spinner and is the same size. You'll need a collar meant for a Dual Coil Tank or something similar to finish the look. It's easy to set up, vapes great, and holds quite a bit of liquid, I usually throw 20 drops at a time in mine. It's also a bottom-air design so no side hole to leak out of. The only thing is you cant drip straight down, you have to drip at an angle so it hits the inside walls or you'll soak your battery.

I got my A7 from RTD Vapor AW Batteries as well as the silica they sell because in my opinion it's the best out there. The same website also sells the wire you'll need to make coils. I'd go with 32awg for an ego style battery. Don't even bother using the wick/coil it comes with, just use it for reference.

My setup is 2 of the 3 strands from the silica with 6 wraps of 32awg Kanthal.

Edit: The "Cone" style atomizer from www.steammonkey.com finishes the top of an IGO-S and an A7 perfectly too btw.

The easiest genny to set up is probably the RSST, which is an AC9 clone. The problem is, it sets up so easy, because of the insulated wick hole, and the spring capture center post, that it might give a new builder a false sense of security. If I were starting out today, I'd go with the AGA-T+ or AGA-T2.
