Not having the best of luck with the Aerotank V2, Perhaps I'll use it as a spare if I can get it to work...
But, the coils are far too expensive to keep replacing, so I'm interested in building my own atomizers.

I've done a bit of research and know that I'm not going to approach sub ohm builds, as I have no need for it since I'm using a mvp 2 (VV/VW).
I'm actually looking to build 1.8 - 2 ohm builds, perhaps even higher. I'd like to experiment a bit and see what suits me best, but I do enjoy a cooler vape and plenty of flavor.

I just want to know what are some of the best rba/rta's available today, and which ones should I watch out for?

Well, I don'r actually own one myself (prefer warm to hot vapor) but the Kanger Sub tank range seems to offer the sort of vape you describe. It has a rba option or replaceable coils so kinda of an 'all-rounder'. The coils are available in higher ohms than the sub variety and you can build it anyway you like. Otherwise, a simple 2 post rda with variable airflow but the choices these days are massive.

I like Kayfuns for 1-2 ohm builds and have all versions. There are also many similar tank systems like Aqua's and Taifun's...also the list goes on and on..

Have fun shopping around and checking out the related threads here on ECF. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

It kind of depends on how you vape. If you're a mouth to lung hitter you should find an RDA that has adjustable airflow so that you can go really tight. If you're a lung hitter, the sky's the limit. For a tight draw with great flavor I would go with the Magma/Clone (infinite) or the Veritas/Clone (ehpro). If you like it a little more wide open, I strongly recommend the Freakshow by Wotofo, it's highly under rated. It can be leaky if you are overzealous with the juice, but it's an operator error situation.
