Right guy just got my rsst and mvp 2.0 in the post also got 400 mesh 30 gage kant some silica wick and I have some cotton at hand. I have no mech mod so im limited to what I can make. Plus im still waiting on my chefs torch to come in the mail but I have itchy fingers and want to build something. Any advice guys ? Maybe a micro coil with cotton wick?

Okay RSST lesson #1
take about 1" silica, put a little more than 1/2 in the tank, leave about 1/3 - 1/2 inch on base plate. Take wad of cotton ( not much) place on top of wick, Take 30ga wire on a 1/10" or so drill bit make a coil of 5 - 6 turns. Mount coil on the RSST, take a thin wisp of cotton and tighten up the end to get it inside the coil, pull cotton into coil, cut off tightened up twisted end, tuck ends of cotton that are in the coil under the bed of cotton below the coil, pre juice the cotton till it is shiny. Fill tank REPLACE filler plug ( I always forget to) set unit to 8 or so watts and make sure the hole in the cap is inline with the coil air flow is needed on coil... and Enjoy

its something I found thru thinking how things work and putting the best of what each method offered basically my own build since I havent seen elsewhere but It does work quite well
Tryed this didnt wick to well so I tryed some ss mesh. Wraped kant around 3mm brill bit got some mesh and wraped it around 2.5mm drill bit and put it trough the coil, fitted perfect. Next I thought the mvp wouldn't fire the coil with the mesh bit it did so I keep pulsing it till the coil turned red working the hot spots out. Put my juice in worked like a charm.
kewl... I tried the mesh and wasnt too happy with it, dry burned too often ... to each their own I suppose
