My Zen Standard leaked from the fill hole as I forgot to stuff it after filling it and left it lying down. I as told a toothpick works wonders. Any other alternatives that works better than a toothpick?
Lol my only alternative now is to use the toothpick as I have run out of mesh and waiting for my new batch to arrive. And I had to leave it standing, but then again it will have the tendency to misfire. Then I had to unscrew the batt a little to prevent misfire. All this is too troublesome. Would be perfect if there was something that can prevent the leak.
I was thinking of capping the toothpick with a small DIY seal and was wondering if that would work. What u guys think?
Make a tighly rolled mesh, thenmake sure to plug your fill hole with something with a smaller hole to it can still breathe but small enough not to let the liquid out, you have to increase your resistance because it wont wick as much compared to when the fill hole is open.

Just got a few springs, brass and stainless steel. Gonna mod the battery cap to spring button. In that way dun need to loosen the cap to avoid misfire.
Hi madhero I don't understand what did you do to the centre post and also if you knock out the negative post, do you attached your negative tip to the other screw instead?
As for the breath hole did you solder it smaller ? Thanks
