RBA's responsible for lower nic?

I decided last week to take a plunge in lowering my nic intake, figured why not. (This coming from chronic vaping at 16-18mg) It wasn't too bad through the transition, although I still have the larger nic juices laying around so once in a blue moon if I desire those flavors i'll use them but for the most part its been ok.

But then something happened...

After lots of tinkering, playing and learning with my rba's (igo-l, did clone, & aga-t2) I finally decided to bore out the air hole on my rebuildables to 1/16" mainly to see what the hype was about, and also because my DID clone just had the tightest draw known to man. Anyhow upon doing this, that 11mg nicotine that I was on the fence about, is not only PERFECT, but it is to the point I even believe I can drop this to 8mg and be totally satisfied.

Any body else have this experience?

I'm really interested to know if RBAs really give throat hit at 0 nic. I've already had 2 packages detained (nicotine is a controlled substance where I come from) and don't want to take any more chances. I'm a heavy smoker, roll my own smokes, about 30 to 40 sticks a day. I find that I vape for the throat hit, not the nicotine or flavor.
Do you by any chance have 0nic lying around to test if it gives the throat hit? I'm so desperate to get throat hit on 0 nic, that I've even steeped chilli seeds in my pg. Don't get a real throat hit, but I'm really desperate.
So, if possible, can you test if 0nic gives throat hit on RBAs?
Thanks!

I think it's a combination of more vape (volume) and better nic break up from a superior wick/coil setup as I also went from 24mgs on clearos down to 8mgs with Genny RBAs.

Enlarging the airhole potentially allows for faster vape intake, but I doubt it has any direct bearing in reducing your nic requirements, but then that may be also somewhat relative to the choke of the original size of the hole.
