Yea its hard to not want the performance of a drip atomizer with the ease of a tank that holds almost 5 mil and doesnt leak in your pocket lol :)

kraken and S T are genesis atomizers and work completely different, with a bit more learning curve for someone just getting into rebuilding. they will offer a sweet experience but I would not recommend them for a first rebuildable.

I started with a couple of cheap RBAs (Igo-L & RSST). They were so much better that I instantly got hooked on rebuilds less and got a Trident & a kayfun Lite +. I imagine you will have a similar experience so if budget is a factor, skip right passed they cheap ones and get a Kayfun.

Funny, those were my first two RBAs as well. I still use my IGO-L, although I prefer my IGO-T.

After I got coil building down, I got an AGA T, and then a Taifun, and then a KFL. Now, I have a KFL and a KFL+, and got rid of all the other RBAs except one RSST which I think I will hold on to for nostalgic reasons. It really was a great "starter" RBA.

It all comes down to how you feel about clones, but the clone Kayfun 3.1 is a spot-on replica. I'm not going to turn this into a clones vs originals argument (and I'd ask that others don't either), just saying that if you're budget minded you're not going to miss out on anything by going with the clone.

Spot-on minus the brass center pin who split in two if you play with him a bit. In EU the real lite worths about 70€ and the clone from 30 to 50€. For that little diff I prefer the original over the clone everyday, we're not talking about a +150€ diff between a real chi and a chi clone.
