Steam Turbine won't make contact

I got a free Steam Turbine clone at my local B&M probably 2 months ago. I tried to set it up with a micro coil as an auto-dripper, however I can't get it to fire on my Nemesis due to the positive pin sitting flush with the 510 connection. No shorts or anything, just nothing happens when I fire. My ohm meter doesn't read it either.

Could I possibly tap the pin down from the top (gently of course) like I've seen suggested for RDAs? If not is there any other fix?

I've never tried a Genesis atty before so it'd be cool to get this working. If not I'll just PIF to someone since I have a few other RDAs.

I tried it anyway. Figured if it broke I lost nothing. Seemed to work, but I haven't built it yet. I knocked it a bit too far the first time, but got it pushed back fairly easily. It's protruding by probably 1mm now.
