This is a subjective issue and perhaps the "power of suggestion" is also a factor. I am a flavor chaser with a variety of "draws" and also a DIY geek :)

Short answer: I doubt it.

Longer answers:

I have a number of drippers (RDA) and a football team of Kayfuns. IMHO, they both have a purpose but with respect to "flavor" I have yet to use a dripper (including my legit Magma) which gives me a significantly better flavor consistently over a period of time compared to my KF. The Magma dripper is about the same as a KF. I would call it a tie. :)

Drippers (RDA) are a fantastic solution to test your batches of DUI juice. In a typical DIY session with a dry burn I can test 10 or more mixes in rapid succession. I also have a few drippers filled with juice I only vape occasionally and don't want to dedicate a Kayfun to or I can easily switch flavors in my dripper as compared to tearing down my KF and the associated drama /lol. In this case the need to drip drip drip is not an issue for me. You DIY so I strongly suggest you get a dripper and use it to test your mixes. Builds on a quality dripper are generally a little easier and less delicate than on a KF.

Kayfuns hold a ton of juice (4ML+) and if properly built deliver an outstanding flavor. Super convenient. On the other hand, even a Magma dripper only holds about 1ML of juice and I think my 3D dripper holds about 1.5 ML. Of course, you need to take the KF apart to swap wicks or dry burn. Easier with a dripper compared to a KF.

HTH

In your case i doubt it will make much difference. I like drippers for two reasons if you get a good build i think it is better for two reasons you can change out cotton wick more often without dumping a tank if the wick gets clogged or burns for some reason. Also it's easier to change flavors which i do a lot. I find that the fogger v4 and aqua are a bit better at juice flow and are a whole lot less likely to leak. My best build on them is sub ohm which i doubt you would be interested in. But the fogger and aqua are easier to do dual coils on which is important I think. I make my coils 2-2.5 mm ID for them. At least 6 wraps.
