So, I have been having issues fighting leaky tanks as of late. Out of desipration, I ordered a couple of Derringer RDA clones on eBay. Once they arrived, I did a couple of 0.6 ohm single coil builds with some premade coils. (One for me and one for the wife.) Holy cow..... FLAVOR! VAPOR! This far surpasses tanks by a WIDE margin!

I can still see using tanks for going out of the house but I think I'm going to be dripping at home from now on.

Right now, I'm using it on my regulated mod. I have two mechanicals I would like to start using but I need to know which batteries are best for mechs. I have 3 Samsung INR 18650-30Q batteries and 3 LG DBHE2 18650 batteries. Are either one of these OK for mechs? I don't plan on doing any super low builds. I'm happy at 0.5-0.6 ohms.

Bottom feeders, the best of both worlds ;)

I believe those are both 20A batteries, but you should make sure, and in that case they're good for your resistance range.
Cool.
I knew I was OK as far as not buying rewrapped 2nd or 3rd tier batteries but I wanted to be sure I was good with their performance as well.

That is my next adventure for sure! @super_X_drifter has been posting some devices that really have gotten the juices flowing!!

He does have some awesome gear. Russ was the first to answer my bottom feeding questions and welcome me to the dark side :)

Welcome to da club, Willie!
The LG is safe for a mech :)

Don't those tiny rdas spit a lot of juice into your mouth?
Not if you place the coils closer to the outside of the deck. If they are close to the posts, it spits like hell, no matter the drip tip.

oh the Derringer. Flavor...and a burnt tongue. The bane of my existence. I stopped using it. I feel that there are competing RDA's that compete with a small RDA.
The best for me, the most used... for me is Vulcan Clones. The little airflow makes the flavor phenomenal. I also have a seperate drip tip which is glass and has a seperate airflow which i use half open. 2 coils... beside each other with a single piece of cotten wicking both coils and stuck under. That is my sweet spot there.

that and the turbo. But the RDA with the turbine fan in the top.... also a clone.... haha, is just for clouding up my room.... for fun

Try building the derringer with 26g 5wraps on 2.5mm screwdriver and placing them as close to the air flow without the coil touching the cap. That should work better for ya :)
