Any tips on building a .1 ohm coil..?

Yeah, don't do it. That is practically a direct short and can overload batteries quickly. A .1ohm coil on a partially discharged battery at 3.8volts is 144 watts. There isn't a battery in the world rated for that. Fully charged at 4.2v would be even worse.

I have a build at .2 right now..no problems..

That's nice.

A .2 ohm coil with a freshly charged 4.2v battery will have a draw of 21 amps.
A .1 ohm coil with a freshly charged 4.2v battery will have a draw of 42 amps.

Will your battery take a 42amp continuous drain? If not, how do you like the idea of a chemical fire in your hand?

The highest rated batteries I know of are the 30A Sony high drain batts. So pulling 21A on those is fine while 42 is not. Do what you want, just make sure you have someone willing to hide the evidence so that the media doesn't point to your "accident" as proof ecigs aren't safe. We don't need that kind of publicity.

I think I've watched every video there is on building coils, and trying to read everything I see as well. There are a few videos of people doing these .09 & .07 builds. One guy says, "PLEASE don't leave any comments about my battery not being rated for this because it's a 30 amp battery.......that's 30 CONTINUOUS amps".

I remember what I was like at 18-28 with the whole "it won't happen to me" attitude. Somewhere around 35 I got the "if it's gonna happen to somebody, it'll probably be me" attitude, LoL

I'll admit I LOVE blowing huge clouds sometimes BUT to me the reward isn't worth the risk, JMO

The real problem with trying to build a sub 0.1 ohm coil is that most meters can't accurately measure that low. Really you may as well just roll a coil using a single strand of silver speaker wire. The screws and metal parts leading from the battery to the coil are probably going to be most of the total resistance anyway and predicting which part is going to get hot first might be anyone's guess. Remember, the highest resistance part is what is going to get hot. In any normal build this is going to be the coil, but if you go too low...well good luck.
