I drilled mine out to 2.0mm but it's still a little too tight for me, am going to buy some 2.5 and 3.0mm drill bits on the way home from work tonight (cobalt of course) and try the 2.5 for a week and see if I like it
I paid over twenty bucks for the glass cap for my igo-w and I hate it. It has two HUGE air holes.I've took in all the air I can before the coils get heated up good
The igo l and w have small chambers which are great for flavor but can be hard to do low builds in without getting hot hits. My igo w that I use for subohming has massive holes, 2 holes probably just over 3/16. if you go with a larger chamber like the patriot the hit does not feel quite as hot. on the patriot I have 1/8 holes @ .25ohm, super dense clouds with little heat issues
My question for you folks is ... Did anyone else feel the draw was kind of tight on these as they come from the factory, and did you feel the need to drill your air hole out slightly?
Not a cloud chaser so 1.5mm worked pretty well for me on the Igo-l.
Performs similar to what you describe the 1/16 does for you Ron. Seein' as how that's only 0.0034" smaller than yours not much of a surprise.
I might could try 2mm hole, that's the next size larger cobalt bit I have but, again for my use, that might be a bit much.
