Welcome , but while I second the vote on the Igo , I have to tell you to save your money on the Chi (piece of crap ) in my opinion . ( had one ) Instead look at a number of the sigelei mechanicals . I have the telescoping , as well as a K100 . Been very pleased with both . At least that's my opinion . You might also look at the RSST (AC9) clone . Very popular right now , and cheap . Good Luck

Just got the Phoenix v5 from Kidney Puncher, had ordered it on a pre-sale (performance unknown). Craig the owner of KP put a statement up "device suffers from a significant design flaw: the air holes are about 3 to 4mm higher than the where your wicks/coils will end up..." so I knew before I got it that problems existed.

Since it has an adjustable air flow ring that can be sealed I drilled two holes on the main body about where the coils would be.. It is hitting harder than my IGO-L's. It needs modification though as at stock it really is not worth it. If you like to modify and tinker I think it is worth the few bucks.

Here is with my (rather crappy) new air holes:

Coils (cotton wick):

And the finished mod on my device:

Overall I would say it is now better than my IGO but since I put the holes kinda low it does not hold much juice and has to be dripped often, not a good RDA for out and about which imo the IGO's are. So some good some bad.

Still pretty new to vaping and ECF so sorry for the small pics.. Still working on that.

I guess ill definitely be getting the IGO now haha.
as for the chi, is it really that bad? or just bad for the price? I really wanted it mostly for how it looks. just looks amazing.
One more question, How dangerous is low ohms exactly?
I've been running dual coils on my nimbus at about .4 ohms.
So many people telling me its dangerous and I dont want this thing blowing up in my mouth....

You should be fine with .4 ohms. Battery life suffers a great deal though. Just make sure you use some good high drain batteries that can handle the current draw. Just got into rebuilding as well and have had no issues so far. Even met a guy rockin a .2 ohm dual coil! I want a Nimbus so bad. CAn't seem to find them at any shops around me :/
