These are times when I almost wish we could have a vape bar (with a *real* bar included, LOL) so we could all sit down together and build and chat and argue and laugh..and tie one on. That would be awesome. Oh how it would be great to have a real vape bar!

In really enjoying this ss coils!
Wrapped a single 22 316 @ .4 ohms, a little higher than I've been vaping lately but....
It's amazing, in getting much more flavor, much more vapor and a bit cooler temp (pro for me) than using kanthal

Yep, I've been following a thread with some very smart people, and vaping the Crown with SS coils, and if I were investing in vaping, I'd buy stock in S.S. It's the build of the future, for sure. So clean! And, S.S. 430 is not only cheaper and completely without nickel, you can also buy a couple hundred feet of it for $5. It's just FULL of win. I've got a couple rolls of Ni200 I never have, and likely never will use, and the Ti will likely go in the dust bin with it soon.

I like 316L do not get me wrong BUT I think N80 is the BEST wire to build with. Call me old school haha but its just my go to. It ramps up much nicer, I like building with it more and I use it for all my fused claptons and pretty much all my regular macros as well. I barley touch KA1

I got the Origen V3 in this week and finally had a chance to cobble up a build on it. Dual vertical, 26 ga., 3mm ID, .5 ohms. Y'all's comparison to the Magma were accurate. Very similar w/o the leakage. The flavor is very good after an hour or so of using. With both air holes open (aligned with the coils) it's close to the Magma if just a little tighter. It's a concentrated vape. Not juicy. Full and focused.

I could use some tips on wicking it. I tried it similar to the Marquis but I didn't double it over. Tap/fed it down with a 1/16" drill bit to where it's kinda bunched up in the well. Is it feasible feed it down like this but instead of trimming at the top drape it over so that the other end sits in the well as uh, well.

I couldn't get my 2Puffs drip tip in. The SuperT tip went in with a little urging. Drip Tip Designz tip went in fine.

I rushed on the coil making, it's a little ugly and uneven, so tomorrow I'll try a cleaner build.

So far I'm liking it quite a bit. With learning and experimenting it should show it's full potential.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I've rebuilt the stumpy and my vertex at least 10 times in the last 2 days.
and I've love all those builds just felt like trying something else, looking for that stellar build.

the stumpy has a single macro 22g 316ss @.27ohms

the flavor is really wet, as if I was getting some micro spitback but in a really good way, the flavor is really intense. the heat is moisty hot, like drinking a cup of coffee, but then the exhale, tons of freezing clouds thanks to the menthol and koolada.

I did ramble a bit, but I'm really enjoying this

Oh my. You just nailed it! Micro spit-back. Not, "ouch, ooh, yowza!" But, "smack, smack that's good!"

Ramble on.

Looking closely at your build, I would recommend switching the screws you trap under. Let the final lead be in front of the coil instead of behind it. Other than that, it looks good.

Royal Hunter Mini: Royal Hunter Mini RDA by The Council of Vapor

Can't remember who posted this coming but, looks like it's here.

Back to the Origen, it's wonderful. Re-built it. A little cleaner. Warm and flavorful. Holds quite a bit of juice. No leaks. Quality of build is high. Thanks again for the advice. I'm happy with it.

Anyone here try the Revolt? I finally pulled the trigger on one after hearing a lot of good reviews about it. Wondering if anyone here can give some input, specifically looking at cons. I know the build deck is small but it almost looks like it would be perfect for some sort of quad vertical build.
Love it. I have 2 Authentics and they're worth every penny. Build deck looks small but the way the cap fits over the build deck and over the fat o rings you can actually have your coils hang over the deck slightly giving plenty of room. I've thrown some standard 3mm claptons in it about 7 wraps kinda tight but not bad. Some people don't like the round center post but I like it so you can adjust it to accommodate a large build. Really only one thing I don't like and that's the tolerances of the o ring on the top drip cap. If it's lubed up with juice it easily pops off. Easily fixed with a thinner o ring. Flavor is up there with the best of em even with the chuffer

Cons of the Revolt that finally made me part with it after loving it for many months
One, the airflow ring...its prefrence but I HATE airflow rings...I like the AFC to be like the Tug or Phenotype design. Build deck is small, I cant put huge fused claptons in it with ease. The center post started spinning, EVERY attie should have beefy square posts. My final con was the post holes. Once I got more into building the post holes and deck really held me back. Despite all this, I wish I kept it and just slapped a standard ni80 22g build in it and put it on a mech. Oh well, I probally grab it again.
