I doubt any of you would need help with this, but I figured I'd put it here (just because).

This is for a NarDA coil and wick (for the perfectly centered coil). With these two 90° bends in the coil, it goes in so dang easy it's not even funny! (Just remember to push the coil down a bit after it gets installed, or it might be up too close to the tip).

Now, wicking with the centered coil, I figure out the size cotton I want to use and then split it into two. I twist two ends into one tight point and feed that through. After that, I snip that end and I have two perfect wicks acting as one and then they go into the quadrants.

Still haven't pulled my first build out of the NarDA, it's been vaping that good. I need more of them ASAP.

I feel you, but it's been awhile since building on an rda was this fun. It's like I keep having ideas and I just have to try them out. I've built this thing six times already and only one was a fail--a vertical coil! LOL. It would've been fine but the cotton impeded the flow of air into the drip tip and it was hella spity.

I rebuilt mine like this earlier after I got home from work, and did exactly the same steps. The coil just plopped right into place. I couldn't believe how easy it was to build. I was literally done and wicked up in under 10 mins, if that honestly.

Be careful tightening down the screw of the positive post (at least I think this is what happened). Mine now is off-center a bit and I think it was because I over-tightened it. Not sure but I will take pics some other time, the vape is too good right now. Hopefully it can be rectified by just adjusting the center-pin. Dunno.

It happened to me too but it happened on my low pro too, juice especially makes it slide around more often. But I just pushed it back where it was and I was thankful It didn't mess up my build lol.

I will say this: The hobo v3.1 is nicer than the aeolus v2 in just about every way..... Except for the vape (IMO).

Building the hobo is a bit easier due to the two post, same builds that aeolus can fit the hobo can fit too, the machining is a tad nicer, both are extremely leak resistant, the aeolus can be a real pain to get the reverse threaded deck on tightly and the hobo can be a real pain to get your top cap on if you have your coils as close to the airflow as possible.

They both vape very similar but I just prefer the aeolus v2 by just a hair; something about that top airflow with a competition cap running a < 0.16 ohm build utilizing stage heated fused claptons; it's hard to beat. I mean the hobo puts out nice flavor as well with similar builds but there's that 'something' about the aeolus; maybe it's the draw but it's just perfect for these kind of builds.

Now I can't say how the two perform with standard coils since the reason I bought both of them for those high power intricate builds.

P.S. My first build in the hobo was not very good; not sure if I had the coil positioned perfectly but so far, it seems like 'z-coils aka between-the-posts' build is not so great on this (I will have to try again some 22g wire instead of a staged fused clapton). Dual coils on the other hand are pretty nice (as stated above, close to the aeolus but not quite).

If I were you, I would't rush out to get the Hobo; I don't think it's gonna buy you too much (I mean it's worth the asking price but with you already owning an aeolus I don't see much of a point)
Thanks for all the info. I really do love the draw on the Aeolus, but I've been running the same fused 26n80/36n80 claptons since I got it. Every other build seems to pale in comparison for me. I just HATE building on 3 posts since I got my Aromamizer with Velocity style deck lol. 2 posts are so much more convenient.

Anytime man. Try that same fused clapton wrapped in parallel with 4 32g strands twisted together with one less wrap to make a staged heating coil. That's the best vape I've ever gotten on that atty and its one of the best I've ever had in general. I will say, you will not enjoy the vape without a competition cap though, the drip tip will get way too hot otherwise.

I find the flavor lacks with the competition cap. I use a cerakote Lokilabs router tip. Cuts down on heat transfer for the most part. I might give that a go on my next rebuild though.

I was actually waiting for you to comment, if anyone knew anything it would be you. If they ever did a collab on a product they would totally kill it! That's actually a good idea.

I have a feeling it will happen sooner or later. I'm pretty sure Hoberto made the Ultem top caps for the NarDA. I think Nar is making the Ultem DTs himself.

Y'know I think I've finally found my "brand" in vaping. We all had our brand that we smoked and I think Nar Mods is my brand of Vape gear. I just wish Nar made non-hybrid mechs or comes out with a regulated mod.

Same here, but with the build I recommended, you're gonna get tons of flavor. It will be very warm and dense but full of flavor too, the competition cap just makes so the drip tip doesn't get unbearably hot before your done taking your first drag.

Wah i want an achilles and narda and can't get either :(
My immortalizer plus just arrived. The screws are too short to tighten 28 wire so i had to wind the legs around the coil heads. For my liking, the afc even completely closed has too much air for a mtl. All in all, kinda disappointed. Jury is still out on the flavor.
Any other recommendations for a flavor, throat hit, mtl, single coil atty? I have a veritas (still my favorite), nectar nano, A7, immortalizer plus and derringer :)

try to build it with 24G wire, 5 loops or try to hit .2 or .3 ohm coil then build it nearest to the airflow.... after trying a lot of rda actually my immo+ finale is my go to for flavor.. im waiting for my NarDA though to compare the two... hehe....

my plan of actually how i will build mine after learning to build on a low pro deck... wish it would arrive sooner though...

Thanks for this man, I am getting a little frustrated because it's been four days now and still no response. I even sent a DM to Perry, one of the co-owners of sector one, and I still haven't heard anything. Pretty irritating considering I paid ~$110 for this..

@kformeck

Is the Ology a PITA to build? Local Vape just put them on clearance for $20.
Not at all, building it is as easy as building the Marquis because it has the divots in the deck where you anchor your screwdriver to position the coils. It doesn't come with the mandrels like the Marquis does but every screwdriver I've ever wrapped coils on fits in that divot perfectly.

And $20??? That's insane, I'm buying another ASAP.

Excellent, thanks. I loved building on the Marquis.
