asMODus is proud to announce their cutest mod to date, the Minikin!

Any time the word "cutest" is used to describe anything vape related, it would seem I have a tendency to move on to the next item on the list or close out that page I was viewing very quickly!!!
Hahaha! Yeah maybe they should of used the world small instead.

Can't help but think that either they:

A: Marketing description was written by a female
or
B: Marketing of the device was directed towards females

Either way the word "cutest" was just wrong altogether...

Yeah I won't argue that lol I get what they meant since I've seen it used so much and it's mostly directed towards small mods in general. Either way they probly shouldn't of worded it that way. I really do want this mod, my local shop just got them and the only color they got in was the tiffany blue.....I instantly thought of your comment of "cutest". Like really though? No black?..

Just got my satin NarDA and I can't find a flavorful build I've tried ti, Kanthal, clapton. Out of all clapton was the best but way to much spitting. Any body have one and can recommend a build?

It's probably broken....you should sell it to me, lol. Congrats on the pickup. Am I the only one that goes to the narmods website, ads a narda to my cart, and hopes it doesn't say out of stock?

I recommend a dual-coil build with maybe 26 gauge (can't think of the ID I used).
I recommend both 2.4mm and 2mm ID. Haven't tried 3mm on duals yet but I would assume they would work well too seeing as I can't distinguish a difference between 2mm and 2.4mm diameter on this atty. On some it makes a huge difference but with duals on the NarDA, i don't think it matters so much because how optimized the air flow is.

PS, someone on the narmods fb group said that they get best flavor with duals and the coils placed as close to each other in the center of the deck as possible. Haven't tried that yet because I always prefer my coils as close to the air holes as possible. Can anyone else comment on this?

Thanks ^ im quite frustrated with it at the moment so i doubt ill be trying a dual atm!

I'm just saying that should be your next build. I tried three different single coils in it at first and I really didn't get the hype. Then I tried a dual coil as suggested by @Mr.Mann and it was the best vape I've ever gotten from an RDA. Since then I've done three other dual coil builds on it and everytime it's been perfect. Some people prefer single coils and others prefer dual coils; for RDAs, it's dual coils all the way for me.

Has anyone ever realized that some juices taste way different with a dual coil build then with a single coil build. I think that plays a huge factor in this rda as well. I've yet to put a dual coil build in my NarDA but I'm also happy with mine, for how hard it is to get one I'll be damned I wouldn't try at least every build in this before I'd ever sell it. I've learned my lesson with selling an rda too fast without giving it a fair shake. I still need to try a dual coil, but for me I honestly don't think it's necessary but I see why some would like it.

yeah i was completely let down by the flavor with single, i didnt get anything. when i do dual 26g kanthal around 2.5mm how many wraps each will get me .4/.5?

i dont use kanthal anymore
I always do 7.5 wraps of 26g because that should make the coil just slightly longer than the airflow slot. 2mm ID will give you ~0.40 ohms and 2.4mm ID will give you ~0.46 ohms.

All over the place
yeah i wont sell until i have no other option with builds
clapton seemed to do the trick but maybe because was spitting in my mouth =x
thanks kformeck ill give it a test tonight or on my day off tomorrow

I know the let-down of a device heralded as AMAZING when all you get is nada! When you try duals, I recommend wrapping one coil in reverse so the leads mirror each other. It will make installing them easiest.

All over the place
i know plenty of people are loving this and looking for a first, a second, a third and so on!
hopefully the dual makes it a narda and not nada

I just left that hanging out there to see if you pick up on it. Nice! LOL. We hype the NarDa and all you get is Nada.

I've only used a single coil in the NarDA and get great flavor.

But.

I know what it feels like to buy a hyped atty and not "get it." Origen V3, Marquis, Stumpy, Chalice III to name a few. Didn't get anywhere near the performance that others did/do. I mostly fault myself for (1) I may have not found the right build for it and (2) Falling for the hype.

may i suggest building it dual coil, use 28G kanthal around 7-8 loops each on 2.5mm id and place the coil nearest to the airflow.... im loving this build, coming in from single, im liking the exhale note of this build brings me....

i build mine like this, and yes i also believe that the nearer the coil to the airflow hole the better flavor/throat hit i get....
