May be just me but it seems like they went backwards making this 4 post instead of two.

I'd have preferred Velocity style posts but a split center post is about equal to two posts with a single hole in each IMO. At least with a split center post I can secure each coil independently.

I was never able to get my hands in a hobo 3.1 so this drifter looks interesting! Also I actually prefer a quad to a 2 post where you share the post holes with the adjacent coil due to only having 2 post holes. However depending on how available that no pity is I will probably shoot for that first!

Best bet would probably be to follow VapinArt on Facebook because they announce a few days in advance before sought after attys are released.

I was actually thinking the same thing. The other day I thought about when another hobo would come out and what he would do to it. This wasn't what I had in mind. I mean 4 post is better then 3 post imo but it does seem like backtracking at this point. If it's bottom fed I'll grab one, if not this will probly be the first hobo rda I won't get.

All in the mail, I got the eVOLve, Thump, Nipple, and the Le Zephyr (although that is not a dripper). And I think I committed to two stab mods today. Who am I and what have I done with myself? :?:

I was a guy that for two years was CONTENT with Joyetech 2.2Ω dripping atties and a single Provari. And I only kept two Joyes at a time. GD frugal! But, I know what happened: I started rebuilding with drippers. It was a wrap after that!
So how is that nipple? I really would love to see how this is, love the looks and everything. Minus the airflow being kinda ghetto and cool in a way. Plus for what I want it for (squonking) the price is atrocious, 160+20 for the pin. Please tell me it sucks so I can move on.

Jh, how about a pic of the inside of the top cap. Is it domed?

And heatsink fins too? I thought we were past that.

Yeah lol I'll probly still get one anyway just cause I'm pro hobo and I have all his other stuff and it's a semi cheap BF rda. But I don't know, he coulda done more I think. But I'll save my thoughts for when I get one.

Oh ok, I thought you said you got it in already. Misread that..

I'm kinda surprised by the negative reactions to the Drifter. As long as Hoberto got rid of the stupid "quick remove" (yeah effing right) barrel I'll be happy. $70 for an atty I know will be machined well, will put out excellent flavor and is BF capable is great.
I wouldn't consider It negative, I just think people expect something more or something better from such an awesome modder. And your right, for what it is its awesome and I will get one for that price especially now that I know it's BF. Is it what I thought his next rda was gonna be? Hell no lol. But that's not necessarily a bad thing either. It's hard to compete with a great rda like the hobo 3.1, this may be nice but I also dont see it surpassing it either.

I doubted the 3.1 before I used it, now I love it and is in my top 3 daily use rda's. Let's hope he keeps up the tradition.

I very curious about the Nipple too. Of the recent new ones that's the one I'm leaning towards. Leaning but in reality, now that I got the Swamp I'm hot up for more BF devices. "None more pious than the recently converted "

That's my problem too, ever since I started squonking I've been on the hunt! I'm about to jump on that SOV 5K with BF pin. With all that and the cap it's like 45 something, that's super cheap. But I may hold off, for what, I have no clue.

If you don't mind a restricted draw it's worth the $45
