Somebody's gotta do it :D

Got my Odis NarDa Slam Cap today, polished Ultem. I am in LOVE with this thing. FTR, it's obviously a NarDa clone, but the fitment is absolutely perfect. The flavor is unreal and its damn sexy, if I may say so ;)

The matchy itch has been scratched (real good too)...at least for a little while :D

EDIT: I didn't try to make it so you could, but you can see my build through the air slot :p

28 gauge Ni80, 6 wrap, parallel, .41

Chuckified

love the ultem button! so matchy matchy :)

i LOVE the odis caps. i feel like it improves the drifter's air flow and flavor due to the funneled chamber and dt.

yeah i think odis is backed up with orders lol. im waiting on a odis drifter black cap w/ fins and w/o fins, and polished ultem. theres also a white delrin version!

gotta catch em all...
I wanted to get a Drifter anyway, now that I got into squonking, and the quality of this cap pushed me over the edge.

Purchased this evening:

1 x Drifter
1 x Drifter BF pin (FINALLY on Hobo's site if anyone needs one!)
1 x Drifter Matte Ultem Odis cap

Can't wait for them to get here :thumb:

mark bugs charm came in!!! this is my initial impression. full review in a few weeks.

x-posted from mark bugs charm thread:

the airflow is super airy to mtl. very wide range of af options from wide open (top/bottom), top only, bottom only, or a mix of top/bottom. adjust it however you like!

i have it set up bottom only duals half open af and the flavor is on point. i usually vape fruit flavors and the flavor i get is what i would get on a chalice iii but with way more airflow and power!

build is a dual 28g twisted 6/7 wrap 2.5mm ID .4 ohms at 38W im getting very decent vapor and really good flavor. no spit back no matter how hard i pull. af is a bit noisy but its a very clear white noise sound. the massive velocity posts act as chamber reducers and give each coil its own "chamber". even when you run it single coil, the posts act like single-coil-reducers. i did not try single coil yet.

it does include a bf pin (THANK YOU MARK BUGS). you can also change pins without disrupting your build! that's a first for me. so if you want to transfer from non squonk to squonk, its super easy!

AND NOW THE PICTURES

It's like the NarDa and the M-Atty made sweet, sweet love

I just spoke to Odis via email and they said they had intended to drop them today as scheduled, but there was an issue. The new tentative drop date is 8/26.

And again, not sure why I'm telling everyone in this thread, of all people :D
Haha thanks for passing it on, like @Sed8op8 i nearly wore out the F5 key last night. 26th is pay day as well, even better

Hoping for some quick opinions, fellow squonkers (and maybe regular dripping folk too?)

How's the viper v2? Haven't ever had a 14mm atty, had a 16mm (Origen, sold it) and currently have 2 18mm Nuppi (LOVE them), so I'm unsure. The reason I am even considering it is because it comes as a package with a very nice looking cocobolo SVA mod

I love my Viper V2. It's a nice lung hit wide open but it's not super airy. Can also be closed down for MTL. Very easy to build on and the flavor is fantastic. It stays on my MoKooo Neon R.

ETA: I have a Viper V2, Predator and Fury and the Viper V2 is my favorite of the three Hellfire attys.

That's an awesome recommendation, especially from you. I've been watching a few vids and it looks pretty sweet. I guess I always assumed that if I got a hellfire it would be a fury, with the top airflow, since that seems to make the most sense for squonking. And the most popular.

Think I'm going to take this deal

The Fury is a nice atty but I prefer the Viper V2. I think the Havoc will be even better since the top airflow is more directed because of the channel in the side of the top cap but it will be tough to get one for awhile.

Has anyone heard of or tried to change the pin out in a goon?
I like the flavor and cloud production on mine and was curious if anyone has tried or knows if a standard bf pin will fit it.
I'm not too sure if a standard pin would fit but I know you can buy already BF goons over on the catfish thread. I think he's running them now. Maybe someone over there would have a better answer, sorry I couldn't help more.

Anyone heard an update from Odis? I emailed them but have not heard back and I have been checking the site every 15-20 min
I was told via email (today) that once they have shipped what they sold on the list then the rest would be up on the site. Might be this weekend, might be next week
