Me too. I struggled for 30 minutes trying to get a Clapton screwed down and never got it. Trying a 24ga single now.

I had the same issue trying to get a clapton or fused clapton to stay in mine. I saw a tip to take the screws out and flip the clamps over. This way the angled cutout is on top, allowing more metal to clamp onto the ends. Working well for me.

Well, there you go! I'll give it a try.

Thanks man!

I actually just threw a build in my Hadaly a few hours ago, been sitting on my self collecting dust for the past few months. I always managed to get juice up in the air holes, and since I like the AF slightly closed off i wasn't sucking the juice back into the chamber when I would draw, I'd get a gurgly bubbly wet hit similar to a badly flooded out RTA. I had a hell of time getting the coil in there too, I forgot was a royal PITA it was. You have to get you lead completely trapped under the thicker inner part of the clamp to wear it's literally pressed up against the screw for it to hold securely, I found myself trying to push the lead under the clamp with one screwdriver, while screwing down the post screw with another screwdriver while also trying to hold the coil in place hahaha. I like the idea someone mentioned about flipping the clamps upside down, I feel like that would work.
This time I put in on my kanger dripbox in the hopes that squonking would negate my overfilling/flooding issues. I still managed to over squonk and get juice in those air holes a few times, I'm just gonna have to get used to and adjust to the fact that this juice well holds a fully saturated wick and that's it; any excess juice is going right up those air holes.
That all being said the flavor on this thing is definitely next level. I'm just hoping that I can manage the issues I have with it enough to where I'm actually vaping it and enjoying that awesome flavor instead of fiddling around with it and getting frustrated.

Yeah the build's a pain IMO, but I love the atty more and more. Guess I'll be putting up with the negatives, as I just ordered a 2nd one. :D

I do want to replace those flatheads with philips. If anyone knows the appropriate size, please post it for me

A RDA that I have grown very fond of but isn't really talked much about is the Wraith RDA. When I bought the Wraith Squonker Kit I really wasn't expecting much from the RDA, I thought it was an interesting design but my plan was to use something else. When I got it I figured what the heck and threw a build in there and it hasn't come off since. It accommodates a big beefy centered single coil, has amazing flavor, and the smoothest, quietest air flow I've experienced. My only con is the post screws, didn't hold as well I wanted. Luckily some hex screws from another RDA I had fit perfectly.
Here's the current build I have in there : 0.62 ohm SS316L twisted core fused Clapton (28ga x 2 + 32ga) 7 wraps 3.5 mm ID. I went for a higher resistance this time because for some reason the Wraith mod only goes up to 50 watts in TC mode even though it goes up to 70 in power mode. The ramp up time on the 0.2-0.3 ohm macro builds I was using was a little slow. This solved the problem, 45 watts fires her up nicely and the flavor is on point at 425 degrees F.

It is a great bf atty glad you like it so much, from what I've heard about the cm bell cap is its more of a look than a performance some love it and others say it's the same as psyclones cap.

Well, I got the Hadaly and CM cap in. As you mentioned, I got it for the aesthetics...and a little bit because Ultem caps have become a unicorn get.

Am I the only one who doesnt like the hadaly? I use spaced fused claptons so it doesnt have enough room with the clamps, not under but width. My current favorites are o-16, shift bf, csmnt, o-genny, lush plush squonked and hellfire havoc. I am thinking of getting the tokugawa but not sure i need another atomizer.

You aren't alone. I don't like Hadaly either. I also don't like the NarDA so most people think I'm nuts.

I just became aware of this one. I saw Todd's review but, can't seem to find any in stock. I thought I saw a mention somewhere about a newer version.

@inswva yeah, you're nuts!
The Shift BF version 1 is my all time favorite, but it's sold out everywhere. Version 2 should be available soon. Looks like it'll appeal to more people- wide bore ultem tip and wider airflow range, neither of which I care about at all, but people who like a little more airflow will. V1 on left, V2 on right:

I love the Hadaly! My experience has been that it doesn't need big fancy coils. A simple 24, 25 or 26 ga spaced coil works great in there. 2.5 mm and 6 wraps with close spacing. Leads on top with the coil hanging down in the well. I wick with short tails and fluff them up alot... Over squonking hasn't been an issue. My O attys and Nardas seem to benefit a little more from fused claptons...the Hadaly seems to be fine flavor and vapor wise with simple round wire builds. If you look at the airholes while squonking, you can see when the liquid gets to the edge...let off at that point. Conventional drippers.....might be a little trickier!

Anyone tried the wasp nano rda yet? How is it compared to the hadaly?

Fresh build on the hadaly sitting on the bolt v2. Flipped the clamps, and it holds the alien just fine. 28gx3 ss w 38g n80, reading at .22ohm

The way the clamps were positioned initially caused the ohms to jump all over the place, felt it wasn't safe to use on a mech. Flipped it and it works like a charm.

Even with a simple parallel 26g, the clamps couldn't clamp the leads down tightly.
