Don't get a velocity. I also own the stumpy and the velocity and while the velocity is really easy to build on that's about all it has going for it. The flavor is nearly non existent regardless of coil height, airflow options and watts. I really tried to like the velocity but I just couldn't, I put it back on my mod yesterday to give it another chance and a few hours later the stumpy was back on it's throne. I bought the Velocity right after RT released his review of it thinking it would be the "one" but I was disappointed. I really need to stop shopping for vape gear when I'm bored.

I agree with you 100%...I did the exact thing...initially not liking the Vector, I thought it must be the build, so I tried several different options. Yes it can chuck clouds, but certainly not flavor. The Vector is back on the shelf and will be sold or given away. I too put a Stumpy back on that mod....small world....:)

It's only that much cause of who made it and cause the box is signed. I mean honestly who cares?! I swear these people act like he's a god, give me a break, he's a nobody, 64$ for a freakin cap lol and they'll sell like hot cakes too watch. Back when I first got my tug I woulda loved this cap but the tugboat isn't worth a 64$ cap I'm sorry.

One top cap for almost half the price of an atty made by Norbert? Uh, I don't think so. Homie don't play that!

All you flavor guys need to look into the MiniDrip from Chels. $35 authentic with great flavor. It's only a single coil atty and the airflow is on the tighter side but it gives a nice, warm, flavorful vape. Only real problem is that it ships from Israel and it takes a loooooong time. Not just the shipping from Israel to the US but for the company to actually ship it. Total time from my order to receiving it was 3 weeks I believe but it's worth it IMO.

I just received my velocity yesterday and I too am disapointed... the airflow and clouds can be insane, but flavor is non existent, my top 3 right now are hobo v3, rogue and vertex mini
This is what gets me everyone raves about how great the Velocity is but it's really not, unless you want clouds even then it's out classed by other attys. They must not have tried any of the good flavor attys. I will give it that it's nice to build on but honesty I would rather spend more time tinkering to get a great vape then to get one that's meh at best. I do like the look of the stro mini, same deck as the velocity but small form factor and for $30 it may be worth picking up just to see how it preforms.

I will keep the velocity as it is really easy to build I will just use it whenever I get the itch to make a complicated build or an extend build that I'll just use for a cake session and forget about it until the next but it won't get into rotation nor will be modded to bottom fed

I hear you, I think its a lot about the people who made it to be honest.

First build on the Zenith and all of that fondness is gone. I got to go back to the video (as lame as it is) and try to re-familiarize myself with the parts. The problem with this design is that it's not intuitive at all. I got my build in and wicked and then realized, oh snap! I still have to juice up the tank. Wait was I supposed to do that before I wicked? I think so. He made no mention of any of that though. And then I didn't I didn't realize how long the wick tails needed to be. Pull them out try again. And the space for your wicks is not all that spacious. It looks like a job for micro coils and thinner wicks. I began with a 3.18 mm ID and it's just a tad too thick to wick with room and not get too jammed up.

So it's one of those things were it may be cool, but I can guarantee that 9 out of 10 reading this that it's going to take a few (maybe several more) builds before you get it down. Oh, and there is a solid-state drip tip that is just way too short. Stupidity tip is what I think they call it.

Oh well, at least I got a Tugboat!

Your to funny Mr Mann. You hate that Tug eh. Go buy one of those AV caps it will make it sick as you know what:p

Love it more than the Zenith! Heck, I love the Tugboat's drip tip more than the entire Zenith (at least from a coil-build perspective). I might get it right and change my tune, but not the tune of it being a emphatic "NO" on any recommendation. I just saved a few of y'all some money!
