Sup guys!! I'm baaaack! ;D anyway, a lot of people have asked if the Freakshow Mini is any good in single coil mode. Generally, I advised against doing this because I figured it would leak even more often lol. HOWEVER, I just got a series box and dogev2, so I wanted something more flavor oriented on the freakshow mini to use with my Stingray X. I built a coil using 5 wraps of twisted 26 gauge in parallel with 2 strands of 26 gauge. Ohmed at .2ohms, this coil is providing a stellar vape!! Nice and warm, but not hot! Plus, staged heating looks pretty cool in my opinion.

Cheers!

I've been running one for about two weeks and I'm loving it. The Sapor is a fantastic RDA that isn't getting a lot of interest.

I started a thread on it. There is a review and video a little ways down:

Sapor RDA by Wotofo | E-Cigarette Forum

See, this is a prime example of my memory going away with age. I remember that and like your video. I'll pick one up. Thanks Benny!

I like my Freakshow mini and primarily run single coils at .8 or so. I use it as my juice tester. Yeah, I get a little bit of leak if I'm not paying attention but, that's offset by good flavor and I can get a good idea of how a new juice is.

No leaks yet with this build! I just used it to taste test the mystery flavor vape wild sent me. It was fruity! lol

So, should I move the v2 Tugboat that started it all in favor of a Dinghy. Is it good FLAVOR. Clouds dont mean a thing, you said it was BETTER then a SC Tugy. Would ya rather have your SC Tug or a Dinghy, you can only have one.
I have to pick one. Let me vape a little more and get back to that one. It's honestly a tough decision.

Got my Derringer in today. Nice little atomizer and I can understand why it took off the way it did, but, but...it ain't even close to being as good as The Stumpy! Of course The Stumpy benefited from having the Derringer blaze the trail first, so it's not exactly fair to compare the two -- but setting that aside, The Stumpy (for me) is much better.

Luckily I got that Mini Gun top cap (SLVRBCK designs) because the Derringer (with it's normal top cap) spits more than a baseball player!

I don't understand how the Stumpy is so much better when they're essentially the same atty except for the posts. Don't take that the wrong way, I'm not saying you're wrong. It's an opinion and can't be wrong I'm just saying it's hard for me to imagine how two almost identical attys are so far apart in performance. I haven't tried the Stumpy yet and I doubt I will, I'm just curious as to why it's so much better.

Trust me, I totally get it! I thought previously it was all bull puckey! LOL

I think the wicking in The Stumpy is more efficient (because of the posts -- just more room for free flowing juice) and there is overall better airflow (becasue of the posts -- just a theory based off of the wide-open channel for air to circulate through) and possibly due to that slightly conical top cap. Just guesses, but it is (IMO) very noticeable when comparing the two. I know it seems like it's hogwash, but I swear it's not. Also, the Derringer does spit more and I think it's becasue the top cap is lower than with The Stumpy and there's only but so much room to maneuver your coils in the Derringer. With The Stumpy, I did a single-in-between post build, I could do vertical coils along with others (larger macros, various Claptons and the like). Just more versatility. But for my initial builds, I ran them the same as I always do.

p.s. I got my VCC in today too.
