You already had one lol The Aeolus v2, no juice well, flat gold plated deck thats super easy to build on, square posts with big holes, screw the barrel on and you have the biggest juice well ever.. I literally just dump a ml or more of juice in there at a time and vape away flavor is great clouds pretty respectable, great top airflow with no leaking whatsoever. It's like the perfect atty to me, i'm still shocked you didn't like it but I guess everyone is different. One mans trash is another mans treasure!

I hate the leaking on the bottom airflow as well but i'm probably going to get one too, I have a 24mm tugboat v2 mod with the 24mm cap and theres just something different about the vape with a wider shorter chamber. Its like super dense and just massive flavor, I don't know if it's just the cap or if its because of the wider bore but either way the 24mm kennedy will look real nice on top of that tug mod!
I said innovative and a practical deck. A three-post deck, with or without a juice well, is about the furthest away you can get from innovation. And it's only practical because it's commonplace.
But know that the Aeolus v2 Pro is not my "trash", and I finally got all the kinks worked out, but I just don't like it as much as, say, the Vector which (as I've said often) accomplishes all the same things with a whole lot less fuss. I still maintain that the Av2P is one of the best draws I've ever used though. No shade, just not for me bathing in the sunlight.

Hmmm...got the Petri built tonight with a single, in-between-posts (IBP?) build at 0.53Ω and, uhm, yeah, very good!!!!!!! Oh buddy. One aspect of this atty that is so righteous is that it does a PHENOMENAL job of not retaining heat!
Yea. Petri is awesome. I got a good load of metal tonight, might get an Origen 3 tommorow. If this guy comes and picks up my IPV4 its a go.
Dingy is on flawless site. Its not $40 though I get a discount at a few local shops haha.
Well @jhhollier....I'm going to try the Dinghy, looks like my kind of design, although I prefer two post atty's now.
Yea, the floating neg posts were kinda neat on the Vector still just a conventional 3 post deck with a juice well though, i'm not sure how innovative you can really get anymore, they've already done no juice well, no posts etc and people complain about both seems like everyone wants innovation but not willing to deal with the quirks. The "one man's trash is another man's treasure" is just an old saying, no offense meant.
Petri is real nice, about as conventional as you can get though! lol Lots of airflow in that chamber with only the 2 posts easy to build on lots of space, it's a nice simple atty I like it, only thing I don't like is the price..
How'd you get it for $40? I'll buy one just to try for $40 can't go wrong.
Yea they have done what seems to be everything BUT we havent really seen an EXCELENT inovative flavor chaser. The Stumpy is very, very close. I would like a pinch taller, more the size of the vector, ONE more airhole per set and bigget post holes.

Petri has two posts so it instantly gets some unique points. Its a great attie, wish it had a shade tighter of a draw. Im actually going to be getting another one to use as a Ti attie ONLY. Nice long Ti coils will work amazing in the Petri.

My own art work is predicated on the notion that "my own trash is my own treasure". It's actually written in my artist bio. Note: I was not saying that I like the Petri because it is innovative, just that I like it. But also, I don't like it enough to keep it (and don't get me started on the price! You ain't the only one!). And as far as the innovation I was talking about, I referenced the Velocity and even the Marquis because I feel that innovation of the build deck need not be complicated, just like what was accomplished with those. I get your points though, it's just that I believe--based off of experience with some atties--that there can be innovation without complication. Even like the 454 Big Block. That atty for some can be a pain to build on, but to me it is incredibly easy and with that negative ring, an innovation. Not a revolution, but innovative nevertheless. I have never experienced a more solid connection like with that atty.
And more to your point about the Aeolus v2P: I am no longer in the camp of people that take issue with it. I do feel they could've rolled it out better, but it's a good atty, just not one that I love. If I could take their airflow design (or something like it) and pair it with a airflow feed like on the Manta v2 (through the walls) and a build deck like the Marquis, I think I'd be about giddy as school girl. Hell, I am about two seconds away from trying to...well, never mind. LOL. Introducing, the Mannish RDA.

Ah ok, I wasn't sure because of the "" quotes if it meant you were offended or something, hard to tell with text sometimes, I get in trouble with my girlfriend all the time texting because she thinks i'm serious when I'm joking lol I've never used the marquis, is that the one that has a screw right in the middle of the airflow? The 454 seemed kinda neat but not into quad coils and I prefer simple, less is more kinda atty's so never really looked much at it, maybe I will check it out. The Manta airflow routing to come out beside the coils seems like a great idea, much easier to get airflow underneath the coils that way but seems like it would be too restrictive for me? I like lots of airflow because like to vape at higher wattage and take shorter like 2 second draws with lots of vapor similar to smoking, I hate taking long draws. If it's not that restrictive though maybe I will give one a try.
If you like LOTS of airflow you wont like the Manta v2. Its a tighterish attie for sure. Ok, I see some dual setups on the 454. Curiouser and curiouser lol. I didnt think Mr Mann would be doing many quads but what do I know haha.
The 454 can accommodate quads, duals or singles -- and even more.

Try the 454 Big Block v2. High-end at middle-of-the-road pricing. It's beefy as hell!
This was an atty I fell for during my brief stint on Calivapers. I think it'sone of the most slept-on RDAs.
Finally, you don't have to trap under the ring, you can just as easily trap under the screws; and in spite of what GG said, you do not have to build verticals.

Cool, maybe now that they are starting to come out with all these 24mm atty's they will have more room for bigger channels to make something similar with more airflow, i'd be interested in that for sure.
