Mine also came in today @HeiSINberg . Here's some pics and a little preliminary review for the 10 min I've had it built:

First thoughts, I forgot to wash the machine oil out of it before installing and wicking the build (fused 26n80/36n80 Claptons, 2.7mm id) so the taste is off. Right now I'm running the top airflow only which is weird because the airholes for top airflow in the barrel are in line with the side airflow. I've got some messing with it to get the airflow where i want it. I would rebuild it and take a wrap off to make it a little easier to wick next time. I had to build and wick it then push the coils down in the barrel a little bit to get it closer to the side airflow.

Definitely has some potential, and I will be using it primarily to get it all worked out. I just had some family surprise visit from out of state or I'd be sitting here rebuilding all night to get it right :D

I noticed you can't close off just the side air flow on this and run only top air flow, am I correct or am I missing something?? Not sure I like that. And I'm not sure why they wouldn't make that an option. Nothing a drill can't fix but that's not the point after I just spent 80$ on it.

I had a couple gift cards and they had just came in so I figured I'd give It a go. Worst comes to worst I could always sell it since it's early, but I got a good deal so what the hell. Hopefully while staying up tonight I can get a build in here and come back with some feedback for everyone. Cheers and happy new year everyone, my extended vaping family! If you close off the side airflow, it rotates the top airflow holes to not be centered on the coils.

Yeah I did that too, but I went all the way closed and the top air flow was completely over the positive and negative posts. Hmmm. That sucks.....for lack of a better word. And honestly they should of done away with that inside part of the barrel and have the top air flow cap just sit over the coils wherever they are, kinda like the aeolus did it. Food for thought I guess lol.

That's a curious design choice. My local B&M just stocked the V3 today and I was planning on swinging by after work but maybe not so much now.

Hahahaha. .......n this threads come along way. Im suprised you like the Subzero Mann, doesnt seem like an attie you (or me a year ago) would like. Theres like no juice well lol so it kinda was weird to wick. Sub Zero Shorty is the HARDEST hitting mech I have used. Its widley regared as so as well. I got a nice little collection of tubes and I really only go for thick walled, beefy, heavy hitters (and the SMPL lol) and this one hits harder then everything. I dont think it dips below 3.9V with a .09 load and fresh cell which is insane. I got a copper Able, copper and brass Rig v2, copper Manhattan, copper VCM, copper and brass Alieron and a brass Limitless and the Subzero Shorty hits harder then them all. The Rig comes close but the Shorty still hits harder. Anyone looking for a sub $150 tube this is what I will reccomend, period

I have always wanted the subzero mod ever since the shorty came out for it. But sadly I don't use mechs often anymore so I couldn't see paying full price.....but if the price was right I'd probly cave and buy one.

V3.5 anyone? This stuff continues. New top cap?
You know they will! Lol Flawless is famous for that. Well one of many companies really, comes out with an rda that's flawed in ways then drops 5 top caps and a new version a month later.

Ain't vaping funny like that? I still know people on the forum that laugh to hear that I am merely rebuilding! LOL. I used to be such an anti-tinkerer.

So apparently I have a NarDA, an ultem top cap and drip tip coming to me. Didn't see it coming because I swear I took too long adding everything to my cart. Everything seemed to go through fine but I didn't get my confirmation email until I got this message. Super excited about this. Also got my nectar micro today along with my efusion dna200; once the atty is clean I will build, vape and report. I don't see myself disliking it seeing as the only reason I bought it was because of how much I liked my clone.

Nice.

NarDA + ultem cap + ultem tip = doesn't suck.

Since the Hobo and NarDA have effectively ended my search for the perfect RDA for the way I vape (and, please, keep that in mind; they're perfect for ME, I'm not saying they are perfect for everyone else), I think I'm gonna start trying to find a couple of sub ohm tanks to fill out my rotation. I absolutely HATE wicking RTAs and can never get them right so I've sworn them off. I know this doesn't have anything to do with RDAs but we kind of veer off topic here from time to time. I just want to be lazy outside of my Hobo and NarDA.

I only have experience with the Kanger Subtank but it's a good performer and heads seem to last a long time. It's definitely convenient and the RBA head is actually pretty easy to wick if you do want to roll your own.

Thing absolutely guzzles juice though.
