It irritates me to no end to see greedy SOBs in these groups. One dude was crowing about how last night he got his 3rd NarDA. Then Nareg announces a randomizer list for people who didn't get one. He enters the list for the randomizer and lo and behold the twit gets another one. I mean, really? Some people don't even have one and this guy is now about to purchase his 4th.

I know, I'm bitter. I can admit that. But come on, at some point give other people a chance to buy one instead of being a greedy POS. /rant

That's o.k. He's going to hell.
Since Nar is acting like a faun's behind I have a refund coming for the second NarDA I was gonna get from Chowder. Think I'll pick up the Shingen.

I still have some temco spools left. A bunch of 24,26,&34g N80. Regardless of where it comes from, I always clean my coils after installing them to the deck. I get such a nice shine from them & I know they're clean. View attachment 521420Fresh clean helps with coloring :D View attachment 521421 I don't just clean them for the coloring, I clean them so they're clean, no matter what spool they come from. These are hybrid TC Ti/N80 fused Claptons after being cleaned. View attachment 521422I'd rather take a few minutes to clean the oils from my hands & whatever is on the screwdrivers/drill bits off the coils after install.
Do u mind sharing how u clean your wire its something i wanna start making a habit of
Thank You

Honestly, I was gonna post this a while ago but I kept deleting and changing my comments at the risk of sounding ignorant towards Nareg and the nar team. That's not the case. But I am noticing a trend with that group and with the influx of idiots and ignorant people coming into the group as of late. When I was first brought in it was on a whim and of good faith, no one cursed, trolled or even stepped out of character. Now I'm noticing all these people acting like ignorant fools and it's annoying. Especially when your first post to the group is questioning how things work or how he runs his company. I don't know maybe it's just me but it's not what it used to be and I haven't even been in the group that long.

After almost 2 weeks of trying to give my tugv3 a shot, I finally gave in and reverted back to my aeolus v2. I wanted so badly for it to work out, it just didnt. Not with my vape style/preference/builds/etc. It should be going up for sale soon in the classifieds. Such a shame.

On a side note, what's next? Since it looks like the Narda is out of the picture for me, I have been eyeballing the hobo v3.1. I decided that if I'm going to get one, I'm going to have to go for the authentic :D Also still considering the Aeolus Lite ONLY because of the 4 post and non threaded deck. We'll see though!

I sold my tugboat v3. Couldn't take it anymore....

My first mistake was hoping it was gonna be along the same lines of the hobo 3.1....wrong. Just get the hobo 3.1 and call it a day! Lol

... hope it's as good as the Tobeco Velocity knock-off and it drives sales of the original into the ground!!!
Not so sure of authentic sales being driven to the ground as they are constantly sold out. Personally, I have two authentics and will be picking up a third once they restock. No clones here. Ever. Period. YMMV.

It will happen, (and when it does), I hope it's as good as the Tobeco Velocity knock-off and it drives sales of the original into the ground!!!

I hope it just forces them to ramp up production faster...

As good as the NarDA is, I will never buy a clone of it...

For me, clones are for trying out things I'm interested in but not confident I'm going to like and the NarDA is the flavor jackpot for RDAs..

To each their own though, everybody likes different stuff.

I am very surprised that China hasn't flooded the market yet with a knock-off of the Narda... It will happen, (and when it does), I hope it's as good as the Tobeco Velocity knock-off and it drives sales of the original into the ground!!!

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I even considered getting that Tobeco 'version'. Still may.

Yeah I'm honestly really surprised a clone hasn't surfaced yet of the NarDA. I was thinking about that the other day. The only thing I'd hope for is for a bigger production, so everyone can get a taste of this rda and doesn't have to resort to a clone, but if clones are your thing then that's what it is, everyone's got there reasons I don't put anyone down for it.

I install the coils on the deck, and I have a bottle that's a mix of dish soap and water, give that a little shake, stick a tooth brush in it, get the faucet running warm-hot water, scrub the deck & coils with the soapy water solution tooth brush, rinse with the sink & repeat until I can't smell juice on the deck. I don't do it too gently, but gentle enough to not screw up the coils or their placement on the deck. Make sure you get a decent froth of soap going with the brush. I usually go 3-4 scrubs/rinses for the deck & coils. Just make sure you rinse out all the soap afterwards and then run it under some cold water to finish it off.

Edit: if it makes any difference the soap I'm using is the green Polmalive Ultra dish soap.

Can anyone here with a RX200 tell me how low you've been able to get yours to fire? I got a build in right now (thanks, @kformeck) reading at 0.09Ω and it fires just fine on my Sig Fuchai, but on the RX200 it says "atomizer low". I was hoping to get the push of 3 x 18650 for a build like this and I can't understand why the RX wouldn't be able to handle it.

Lowest I've put on mine was a .18 ohm. But I normally don't go much lower unless by accident.

Yeah, me either...but this build is special! LOL. I just checked and apparently it only fires--in regular wattage mode--from 0.1 to 3.5Ω. Ι am surprised my Fuchai handles it no problem. I would rather it on my RX, but at least I am covered.

Note: it reads as 0.09Ω on both mods.

Lol, sorry about that. My goal was to get it up to 0.10+ ohms but I couldn't fit that many wraps in there [emoji4]

Maybe try readjusting the post screws or letting a little bit of the coil out? I'd say this is one of the downfalls I've found with the RX200. The other being the 510 pin being garbage held in place by tension from the positive wire inside the box. I get fluctuating resistances on the same build, same atty, just by unscrewing it up and back down. Hell, sometimes it does it while vaping. Reads solid on my ipv4 so I know it's not the build. I'm replacing my 510 with a varitube slim once they come in.

Hmmm, I haven't had that happen on either of my rx200s..
