I've seen some people show some interest in the Petri V2 lately and not sure if everyones aware of this, but it would seem dotmod has decided its best to have them made in China nowadays... Seems like the price should've reflected it a little more than the paltry $10 difference from the V1.5 though. I just don't get why a company has to gouge the vaping public like this. It should be priced in the $50-60 range considering where its made!!!

Isn't Chowder doing a run of these? I thought he swore off Chinese atty's a year ago?

Yeah I can't pop it out and only use the top screw cap with it cause it'll fall off. But what I could do is take it out and pop that tab out WITH the tube still attached and fill it that way, that would be really easy actually I never thought of that before. Thanks man I appreciate it! I'm still new to this so I didn't even think to look at that.

I'd be willing to bet Tom isn't aware these are being manufactured in China. Dotmod is yanking him around anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the plug.

And, I agree with you. A made in China atty should not carry a premium price.

Even though the China thing doesn't bother me, I kind of hope he does pull the plug on the V2 run. I'd just as soon get another Pancake or an Origen 16 or Pentakill.

I never really understood why they were that expensive anyway. I mean it's not like it has much going on for it anyway.

@inswva - Have you tried the NarDA on your Mokooo? If so, does it sit flush? If you haven't tried, could you? Enquiring minds want to know. :D

I haven't yet... but, give a me second. My Stumpy didn't sit flush but that was before I realized the Mokooo has an adjustable 510.

My advice would be a brushed bare metal finish. The cerakote on Tmods isn't very durable. I traded by SX350J Tmod simply because the finish started chipping off in less than a week. I couldn't stomach owning a $550 mod with a rapidly deteriorating finish. My 18500 Tmod also suffered from chipping/flaking.

And, I didn't think Tom was making any more SXJ Tmods?

The Cerakote finish has been a problem for most owners from what I have read to date... Even read a few have stripped the coating off because it was so bad quickly. Russ sent his back to Tom within a week to be stripped because his was flaking before he could get an atty on it... I think I read a few days ago he told someone the SX350J was a no go because he is moving on to the DNA200...
