Hey folks,
So I've been vapin on a Nemesis with a Stillare Clone and recently I have been getting this weird metallic taste and every once in a while my cotton wicks will go on fire for a split second if they are not completely soaked in e juice. I am using a 28gauge 5 wrap dual coil and i have been using this setup for a while and this is the first time i've had problems with it. I was also wondering if maybe the issue could be a faulty battery? i use a sony vtc5.
Thanks

No.1. It has nothing to do with your battery.
No.2. By stating your coil parameters and not their ohmage, I am concerned that you may not possess a multimeter. A multimeter is a virtual must for anyone building their own coils. For sub-ohm vaping it is an absolute must.
No.3. Follows on from No.2, insomuch as from the way your post is couched, it appears you are fairly new to mech mod sub-ohm vaping and it therefore cannot be emphasized enough the importance in reading up on the mechanics of safe vaping.
No.4. Quite obviously you have wicking issues and I would suggest you are using too much cotton. Your wick should slide fairly easily back and forth through the coil. The better alternative is to use rayon which has superior wicking qualities to standard organic cotton.
No.5. Please spend due time reading through our safe vaping guides. They are there for a reason. You are putting an object in your mouth that has the potential to explode violently, more so if certain criteria isn't met. Vape long and safe Johnny.
