Anybody know some rda's I could use for cloud chasing on an IPOW v2 battery? Looking to sub ohm that .... but I don't know where to start!

For cloud chasing your probably going to want to go sub ohm and that battery can't handle that I'm pretty sure. I'd suggest getting a regulated box mod and a Atlantis (.5 ohm stock coils), learn about all the safety that comes along with sub ohms and move from there

I hate to be blunt, but you need to go through the forum and do more reading on all the aspects of sub ohming. Most importantly would be understanding Ohm's Law, then battery safety, and then rebuilding. After that then you can start experimenting with the art/science of cloud chasing if that's really all you want.

You aren't going to be sub ohming on a 15 watt battery. I'm not even sure of the amp limit, but this has unsafe written all over it.

Do know ohms law like the back of your hand? Have you read up on battery safety? Have you made your own coils before? How long have you been vaping?

I ask those questions because I/we don't want you to blow yourself up. Yes it can and does happen from over-stressing a battery with a build it cannot handle. Read, watch videos. ECF has excellent resources on ohms law and battery safety. If you don't know what can happen and how to safely build a coil with the proper battery you will end up as a statistic. We don't want that.

Thanks man, I didn't even know some of this stuff, I've been low teir vaping for a few months and know barely anything about ohms law from which i learned in 11th grade science lmao i'll definatly check that guy's videos out for help! Thanks!

And definitely don't get discouraged by going "Oh, that looks cool. I wonder if I could... oh, there's homework." If it looks fun and keeps you interested, reading up and fully understanding can be half the fun -- if you get stuck understanding anything, this place is super helpful.

You could definitely do some pretty great vapes on your battery though -- but you'll probably want to look more at microcoils. I'm not sure if your battery has an ohm meter, but you're probably talking $25-30 for everything you'd need (decent rda, wire, wicking, $5 multimeter) and you're then well on your path.

Most of all be safe whatever you do. Understand the principles and start having fun with it. I started slow and made sure I got the right gear for each phase of my journey. I just read a ton of posts on here before each purchase to ensure I was going the right direction. I just started getting into sub-ohming, but that was mainly due to getting a DNA 40 device and using nickel to build coils. I made sure I had the right batteries a long time ago. I picked up the Sony VTC5s and the LGs. I build my kanthal coils around .8 and up now because it gives a great vape and some good clouds. I am not a cloud chaser, but it does kind of feel good when you blow out some nice ones. I am more of a flavor guy.

You can always look at the Kanger subtank when you get a device and batteries that can handle it. It is not as good as my helios dripper, but it is pretty darn close for a tank that you can use premade coils on. The clouds are better than my Lemos, but that could always be due to my builds I use on them.
